What kind of light do you use to read by? When I was growing up my mother made us read by electric light. She said that it would hurt ours eye's reading from dim light or no light. Now I go over to her house and she is at her desk writting and ask's me to read something and I tell her that I can't even see it because it is too dark. And I ask her why she does not turn the desk light on and she says because she does not need it and it saves electricity.I then said to her,"Well, what about you told us when we were kids?" And then she claimed that she had never said that.Do you use light to read? If you do,what kind?

Iam that way too.I have problems in the dark anyway.I thought that was from when I was born, but an optomologist friend of mine told me no.I was premature and was in an incubator at the hospital for almost 2 months. When I came home my mom said I cried constanly unless the light was on.So,they had to put my crib in the closet and turn the light on.

That's what happened. But,I still think that my sight in the dark issues stem from that.

Lol, its strange how parents forget isn't it? haha...I have to have light when i read,i hate squinting....I have a friend that only uses those tiny night light because she is saving on the electric bill....When i get so broke i can't pay maybe i will have to do that, but as long as i can afford to pay the bill,i want light....
