June is almost here~~~~

I don't have any plans as far as going anywhere. I was planning on going to Florida to visit my brother and sister but with the price of gas, I have decided not to go anywhere that far away. I might take a little trip by myself closer to home and take photo's of different things. I have a week planned off the middle of June, other than that I will be working my normal full time job plus my PRN work that I do.

This looks like the worst summer of my life - I have to move for the 27th time in 31 years. Husbands job is in Las Vegas, I'm in CA and i do day care for my grand kids. The parents can't afford day care as it is astronomical out here, nad if I move to LV, they have no day care for their children. Can't afford rent here and there and need a tax deduction as we currently have none, so buying a house is the only way, and can't afford a house payment and rent...bottom line, I'll be surprised if I make it through the summer!

Going out ot see the Nile river at Murchison falls beat its way thru a narrow gorge on it 3 month journey to the Mediterranean Sea would make my June by all Accounts!

I have surgery in July so I will get to spend time recuperating from that for the summer. Family and friends are coming to visit though so that will be good. My husband and I intend to check out some movies too.

Well marcia, with gas prices the way they are any fun we have this summer will defineatly be close to home. I like to grill too, and started as soon as the weather turned nice around the middle of April. Hubby has to get our pool cleaned up so the kids can swim all summer, and we have a couple of parks pretty close to our house. That will probably be the extent of what we do, but will be fun none the less.

We are doing lots of fun family stuff with the kids. We have to go back to Mississippi for two weeks in July. My parents are meeting my husband's parents for the first time. We have been together 6 years and they have never met. We might end up in Michigan at the end of July for my husband's work. That is not definite yet though. We don't have a grill yet but we are planning on getting one soon. I also need to get out and clear my flower beds...

I am hoping to have some fun too. We got the pool all ready for the summer. The garden is planted, and some of it is growing. My mom and I want to visit my sister in Virginia this summer. Plus we like to go to flea markets. Also its always fun to go to the casino when I can. Summer is finally here, yahoo.

I don't have many plans at all for the summer. Just the usual: gardening, bbq'ing, visiting here and there with my girls and their children, and stuff like that. How I long to go on a real vacation!!! Eh, maybe someday I'll get to do that, but I'm not holding my breath hahaha. I'd be a real happy camper if I could get out and do something fun away from the house. The last thing I did that wasn't a family oriented event (wedding, etc) was Mother's Day 2007 I went to go see a play and then out with the friends. Gee, I'll have to try and grill some fruit, that sounds pretty good and I would have never thought about bbq'd fruit. Hoping you have a wonderful and fun summertime too :-)

Hi marciascott, oh grilling sounds so yummy. I live in an apartment building in a big city and there is no place for me to grill and have a bbq. They only time I get to enjoy a bbq is when I visit my brother down in Florida but I am not sure about going down this year, everything it just too expensive. Do enjoy your time with your grandchildren.

I have made a promise to myself to try and make it to the beach as much as possible this summer. I solidified that promise by going out and purchasing two new swim suits- I figure it will give me the incentive to go ...lol. Don't get me wrong- I love the beach and it doesn't take much to get me to go...but I just dont' like having to lug everything...lol. I do love the sun, ocean, sand and total atmosphere of the beach. To me it's so relaxing. I also plan to do some heaving marketing of my business this summer- I'm hoping to mix business with pleasure- and do some markting- while at the beach!...lol.

Yes, J!une is here and winter is around the corner. All I can think about is stocking the fireplace, since we have severe power outages. Enjoy your summer

I'm lucky to be doing a lot of traveling this summer. I'm going to a songwriter's festival in Nashville for a week, my boyfriend and his family and I are going camping at a lake for about four days in July, then in September I'll be doing some mission work in Mississippi and visiting a friend in Texas for awhile. Then there's the usual county fair and all that fun stuff. Looking forward to a GREAT summer!! Have fun and be safe everybody!!!
