One of THOSE days!

Have you ever had one of those days where everything you tried to do went WRONG? I got up this morning with the intention of mowing up close to the house where the riding mower won't go. Went out, checked the oil in the mower, filled it with gas and tried for 10 minutes to start it. No luck! So I came back in the house and tried to edit some web pages. The darn program wouldn't accept my html. It kept just putting the code on the screen! That's how my whole day went. Did you ever have one of those days?

Yeah I have had one of those days, but thank goodness I have not had one in a while, most my bad days have been specific things going wrong rather than everything going wrong.

That is because it is spelt perception lol. I think it is partly how we look at it as if we look at it positively then it won't be a bad day, but as I am realist I see a bad thing as a bad thing and a good thing as a good thing.

LOL On those days making coffee is NOT simple! Have you broken the coffee pot first thing in the morning yet? I have. Fortunately I had one from another coffee maker that I made do with even though it didn't fit exactly right. Gotta have my coffee!! Or run all the water through and discovered you didn't put coffee in the basked? That's a classic. Can't count the number of times I've done that.

Yep! And on days like that it took everything I had to NOT call in sick, because I knew I was going to totally mess up everybody's day.

This is something I can relate to. Somedays even the simplest little things seem to go wrong, not work, open or just plain do what they are supposed to. I had one a few days ago. Just about everything I did either took forever or didn't work out like I wanted it to. I tend to call those the days that you really should have stayed in bed. I guess we all get them. Too bad nobody told me about that when I was a kid. Then I wouldn't have longed to be an adult so badly.

Harumph! It's so not fair! Have a hug on me. And take heart that even without a kiss on the boo boo or a glass of milk and some cookies that tomorrow will be better and you'll have forgotten all about it. But be careful for the rest of today though!

Unfortunately, I seem to have more than my fair share of those types of days. Yesterday, I realized that I had left a large window pane propped up against a tree stump in my yard. When I was puttng stuff away I wasn't able to get into the garage at the time and had planned to go back and put it up later. Well, I forgot and found it broken yesterday morning. Then a few hours later, I knocked an antique glass candle holder over and it shattered into a gazillion pieces. I was heart-broken from both losses.
