It's storming. Lonely black and dark clouds are chasing each other across the deep dark gray sky. The Thunder rolling and pounding so hard it makes your heart race in your chest. The bright lightening cracking across the wide open spaces of the country side. The power has gone off a few times causing me to have to power up my computer, turn my tv back on and reset the clocks time. I have to open my websites again for email and mylot. Trying to post and listening to the hard pounding rain on the roof and outside. A really good storm. How do you really feel about them? Do they relax you or upset you? I love a good storm. The rain on the roof has a calming effect for me. The lightening and thunder are no problem. The thunder scares my babies. I have to reassure them. To me it's nice. How does it effect you? I'd like to know what you feel when it rains. Thanks for sharing.

This is pretty much the way I feel. The storms and rain calms me and I can do whatever I want to. If it's read a book, work on the net, or go to take a nap or sleep if it's late enough. I believe it's about the only time I don't have insomnia. Thank you.

I love a good storm. I love all the thunder and lightening and I miss it a great deal. We don't get much of it here in Phoenix. Rain is far and few between. I used to live back east though and the thunder was like nothing I had experienced before.

I'm in Tennessee and they are great. I use to live in California. WWhen I first got there and was in a hotel on the radio station they said it was storming outside. I was like, really I heard it never rains in California. I opened the door and looked outside. It was a very light rain. I told the person with me, they think this is a storm. I'd hate to see what they thought if they were back home,(the southern states) when we get a true storm. They'd probably think the sky was falling. It made me think of chicken little and him saying the sky is falling. I think people not seeing something like that and not being use to it, well they might think something out landish was going on. Thank you for your post.
