What did you think of the new Indiana Jones movie? Personally, I didn't think that aliens and Indiana Jones fit well together. It just doesn't seem like it should have aliens in it...they should have made it more like the old ones. They are the best. What are your thoughts on this?

I have not seen the new Indiana Jones movie yet,but I have heard a lot of good things about it,and me,my fiance, and my friend are going to go see it today, and I have high hopes for it,because it has been a while since I have seen the other Indiana Jones movies, but they were good too,and especially since Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones, and I think Harrison Ford is a really good actor, and I know he is getting old,and I want to see him in this, since this might be one of the last movies he gets to star in.

I just want to add that I saw the movie yesterday, and it was totally awesome,Harrison Ford was superb again in his role of Indiana Jones, and even though he is old, he can still put up a fight, but the other three Indiana Jones movies were just as awesome.

I know,it was a good way to get away from reality for a couple of hours, because the movie was that good, and watching it on the big screen, made it feel like I was part of the action, and I cant think of anything else that would be worth the money, and I would gladly spend the money again to see, have a good day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

Yeah, I just think that they "modernized" it a little too much.

I watched it just yesterday. Yah, you're right. I agree with you Jdmaurer. Alien and Indiana Jones seems like an awkward combination. The actions are still good, but doesn't really come close to past movies. I like the past three Indiana Jones more. My favorite of all is Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade. And ofcourse the first Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Yeah, the three old movies are great, although I didn't like Temple of Doom as much. but the other 2 were as good as it gets.

It's a decent movie, but I honestly miss the evil Nazis because that was what Indy was most known for fighting evil Hitler's Germany. It was a good movie, but not nearly as fun, and there was no Sean Connery in it and I liked him.

I watched it a week today actually. Its just over 2 hours right. Anyway I really did enjoy it. I wouldnt say it was my favourtie out of the four, I would say Raiders of the Lost Ark the 3rd was my favourite with Sean Connery, dont know really why as such. The bit Nuclear Bomb test was interesting, but the bit with the is a bit wierd, he shoild have beaten to a pulp the way he was thrown by the blast, good scene though. I ak not sure about bringing Aliens into the story of Indiana Jones, freidns of mine didnt really like this idea, myself I was ok with it, but this is a franchise which may have been better if kept more traditional.

I thought that the new Indy movie was great. If you have seen the documentaries about the crystal skulls the movie gave an interesting theory. Why shouldn't it have aliens in it? I thought it was an interesting way for the stories to go instead of along the same trail as the last three. And for Speilberg to go that direction was kind of amusing to me.
