Ok I do know I should be eating healthy as I am pregant but.......These marshmellows were calling out to me and I couldnt resist. So I had marshmellows for breakfast and the baby loved it lol. So what are your diet deal breakers. What is that one thing that you just cant refuse but know you should? And for fun what was your favorite camdy/sweet as a kid? Mine was pixy sticks (pure sugar).

I would say my diet-deal breaker are cookies and cakes. I often take food home from work parties because I only like to eat certain things on my "no diet" days. But, I find that I can't keep these things in my house for very long before I just go ahead and eat them. Another thing that I can't resist when I'm really hungry is raisins, which are on my diet, but not in large quantities. Sometimes, I will just eat a few extra, but then other times, I eat several servings all at once! At least they have potassium and iron, so it's not all that bad.

Oh, and my favorite candies when I was a kid was probably anything Reese's. At that time, it was only the peanut butter cups and the Reese's pieces. I also liked Butterfinger.

I love cheesecake breakfast rolls! They are my major downfall! I also love cream filled long johns! My favorite sweet as a child was a candybar called a Wathamacallit. I still like them to this day too.

I used to be very wired kid. I didn't eat chocolate or many sweets. I loved to eat fruits and drink a lot of juice. I did have some cakes when my mother was cooking.

Yeah, folic acid. I think it is absolutely really important if you are pregnant for your child. I wonder where you got the idea a C-section when your infant in your womb is way too healthy.

You sound like my Mom. She keeps a bag of marshmallows on the kitchen table and gets into them all during the day. That wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't diabetic. I love the fresh donuts from Piggly Wiggly (a grocery store chain around here). I got some chocolate glazed ones yesterday and they're pretty much gone today.

Me too. The nearest Krispy Kreme to us is 50 miles away and I have a feeling that one may be closing before long. They do sell them at Krogers and a few convenience stores but its not like getting them fresh.

Well minnie I am sure that having a bit of what you fancy will do both you and the baby a lot of good! I don't really do diets and I don't eat a lot of rubbish very often - I have to say though that Reese's nutrageous and anything nutty is the sort of thing I find hard to resist! My favourite when I was little were parma-violets from the sight, to the smell and then the taste - I savoured each and every one! xxx

Well, I think I oughtta have high fiber old fashion oatmeal. My favorite flavor is Maple Brown Sugar. I would not have any sweets at all for breakfast. I would do bananas and all other fruit. I can still do coffee, cappucino, or frappucino. What do you think?

shame on you for eating those marshmallows....lol. j/k. Do you just eat plain marshmallows or the colored ones? I think the colored ones are good. My diet deal breaker is chips, no matter what I do, I can't stay away from them. I guess I like the saltyness of them, I know they aren't healthy for you. I've tried the baked stuff, but they aren't as good as the real kind..lol. Thats my weakness...especially Cheetos...The candy I loved as a kid, do you remember the little pouches you would get with the powdered candy in them, it would come with a stick that you would dip in the candy and eat it. They usually came as a package of 3, different flavors. I can't remember the name, I think they still make it...lol.

Cheesecake, definitely. I love me some cheesecake and will even have a piece for breakfast once in a blue moon...lol. I used to be really strict about stuff like that, but not so much anymore. When my daughter was three my ex decided to let me sleep in one morning. I woke up and found them having cookies for breakfast. I went ballistic. I was so mad. Then my ex calmly put the cookie package in front of me and a box of cereal with the nutritional panels facing me. I started paying attention to this and now I'm much more relaxed about breakfast...lol. I don't really remember what my favorite sweet was as a kid. I could always eat anything and not gain weight. Until a few years ago I worked a very physical job and needed to eat a lot to maintain my weight. Then I went on some medication and gained 80 pounds. I have now lost 30 pounds, but I still love my cheesecake and still bake it once in a while. I don't mind dieting, but you have to enjoy the good things sometimes.

When I lived in Washington state as a child, they had this candy that was shaped like the mountian. It had some kind of sugar confection in the middle and was covered in milk chocolate and chopped peanuts I think. I still love any chocolate that has nuts or toffee in it.

here in my country, rice is the staple food. so when nutritionists talk about having a heavy meal for breakfast, it means rice & viand for me. there are only a few times wherein i'll just eat bread for breakfast. but usually, i go for the heavy meal to keep me going until lunch.

You're pregnant= you are allowed to eat anything you want! I personally love to eat chocolate for breakfast. Chocolate already tastes great but first thing in the morning is just heaven for me. When I was a kid I loved chico babies. I still do!

I like to eat sweets whenever I can get it LOL. I like sweet rolls with lots of icing on it, warmed up a little for breakfast. I love the pixy sticks too. My kids love them now as well. When I was a kid though I loved eating sixlets. (very similiar to m&ms but tinier).
