Bears and Turkeys and Bats....Oh my!

What kind of wild animals do you cohabitate with in your area of the world? When I lived on LI, I would see a bunnies, squrrels,chipmunks and the occasional raccoon. Since I've moved to NH, I've seen a lot more (and bigger) wild life!
Our own back yard has seen-woodpeckers, a couple of little ones trying to down one of our dead trees and a giant one (king something woodpecker) that actually looks like a dinosaur! A family of skunks-lovely! This winter a pack of about 25 wild turkeys made their way through the 3 feet of snow in our yard (falling in-very comical!) In the summer we actually get BATS flyinig around our house at night! In the area, I've seen deer actually in peoples driveways! A bear walking across the street and an abundance of street pizza (fox, turtles, possom etc.) I haven't seen any moose yet, but there's plenty of moose crossing signs in my travels. How about you, what kind of wildlife do you come across?

Well down here in rural PA we have the same wildlife as you...minus the moose! We have 6 acres right here. Besides the rabbits, woodchucks, and possums, we've had deer and turkeys right outside the living room window. A mountain lion or bobcat left prints at the bottom of the driveway...I don't remember which, I just know one kind left prints and the other kind has been heard. S/o hit a bear going down the one side of our hill and I saw another one while coming up the other side...and almost hit another one on the main road on that side. We have bats and bluejays, field mice and owls...even a turtle and lots of frogs down in the water hole.

those big animals can do a lot of damage to cars, its scary especially around dusk when they're known to pop out of no where!
