How many times ?

Oh yeah, it doesn't snow here in the Philippines but malls here have ice skating rinks so we went there and I skated for the first time...I knew how to use roller blades and so I had a good sense of balance but ice skating is much more slippery. I nearly fell a few times but I regained my balance. So for that first time I skated, I didn't fall.. woohoo!

the first time I skated was in my mind.I was about three years old and would close my eyes and slide in my socks in our entryway back and forth.shortly after I asked my mom to take me to "Holiday on Ice"thats all she wrote!!Needless to say I became a Professional Figure Skater with "Walt Disney's World on Ice"As for falling it has to be in the millions!!and that is no joke.The only way to improve is to keep trying no matter how many times you fall.I do not take this talent lightly as I have seen people put on a pair of skates and not even make it on the ice!too hard to just walk !!Keep trying and each time it will get easier and easier!!

I have never been ice skating although I use to skate a lot when I was younger. I don't skate any more now because I am too old and it hurts to skate. Arthritis won't let me skate any more!
