Wow, I finally made it to 500 posts. I've been posting like mad the last few days trying to reach this milestone and I've finally done it.
I feel fantastic!
Hmmm, so now I have my rating star, use of smilies and now the ability to copy and paste (and I think the ability to add a photo with responses).
So what is the next official Mylot milestone... are there any more. Are there any more priveleges we get to earn?

Congratulations, Jewel of the Lot! Bravo! It's so cool to reach that point - I know from where I speak! But I don't know about any further privileges and delights we might have available to us, darlin, I'm barely capable of enjoying the ones we do have! lol, yeah - me, Miss Computer 1989. Ha!! You'll be fine though -you'll find out what you can do and actually be able to do it. Just keep typing and keep having fun. You're a treasure and I think you're just terrific! Love and kisses, baby!

An edit button is exactly what I need!! For my mouth. I always say that my edit function isn't working - sounds good to me.
But no, no more privileges, not that I know of. We could make some suggestions to admin though, if you wanna......

Gotta treat yourself like a car dear... Put the engine in gear before opening the throttle... or in this case... put brain in gear before opening mouth! LOL
Hah, I can't talk though... I'm another one who is guilty of opening my big mouth before thinking! Or as I put it, 'I have foot in mouth disease... I open my mouth and change feet'

Many many congratulations ! So, now you have achieved a big milestone at Mylot and being a newcomer myself, I consider to be a great achievement. But we should keep in mind that this is the first one only and we have to achieve even greater milestones in the time to come. So, this achievement should be taken as catalyst to work even harder to achieve new heights.

Absolutely. Well, I've reached payout for each of the last two months so that has been great.
You've got plenty of milestones to come yet.
100 posts - Your rating star (star above nickname/avatar)
200 posts - emoticons (smilies)
500 posts - ability to copy and paste as well as ability to add pics to responses.
So go to it, enjoy your time on mylot and you'll hit those milestones before you know it

Congrad... you have made it to 500. Right now i'm working for 1000. I was glad to reach 500 and thought i would wait until i reached 1000 post before starting a discussion on it. There are others that have such high numbers i wonder still how they got to the numbers that they have. But you and I are still working to reach high post number too. So keepup the good work.

Thanks, and you too. Looks like you haven't got too far to go to the 1000 now. I know I went from just over 400 to 500 in three days... because I wanted to get the 500.
I haven't used my new priveleges at all yet though.

Thank you, I've been here for almost three months now.
I got the star when I reached the 100 posts. The colour of your star depends on how people rate your posts. If 85-94% of people who rate you give you a positive rating you will have a red star like me 95% and up gives a blue star.
Just hover your mouse over your star and it will tell you what percentage of mylotters have given you a positive rating. Mine currently has 92/100 which means that 92% of my ratings are positive ones.

I knew I would make it as soon as I joined... simply because I planned to.
But it's a good feeling when you hit those milestones... especially the 500.
So just keep plugging away. You'll have some fun and you'll earn money doing it.

Hi there, Jewel....Congrats on that milestone! I've been there a couple of days ago and I totally know how it feels; you will just feel over the moon! Yeah, now you will get privileges such as being able to copy and paste and also to add images to your responses. I think the smilies are also available to members who have less than 500 posts though. I don't think there are any more privileges to earn after this, but it's certainly worth the effort to try and emulate the next milestone you set for yourself such as 1000 posts, 10000 posts etc. Hopefully with this milestone you'll be more active on mylot in the days to come. Happy mylotting and keep up the good work!

Thank you. Yes it does feel fantastic.
I remember feeling great when I reached 200 aswell, and I got to use smilies.
Actually, I'm fairly active on here anyway. I won't be so much over the next four days though because my work week starts tomorrow.
So yes, next milestone is the 1000... probably be another three months or more before I hit that.

Good luck with your exams. My teenage son is currently in the process of studying for his midyear exams (Here in Australia the school year goes from Feb-Dec) It's his first year of doing 'real' exams at the equivalent of 'freshman' (Year 10 here in Australia).

Well I sure don't know but I congradulate You on Your accomplishment and I know how grand it must feel. I am looking forward to the day You have obtained for Myself. I know I will be very thankful when I am able to copy and paste content myself. It's frustrating, needless to say. I would not mind a star no matter what it's not something I care about since I cannot quite figure out what or how the star system really works yet. God Blesses!

The star system is really just a popularity contest rather than something all that important.
You get the star from people rating your discussions and responses. If 90 people out of 100 (or even 9 out of 10, or 45 out of 50) give you a positive rating then you would have a red star like mine. It's based on the percentage of positive ratings.
Keep up the good work and you'll reach the milestones too.

Wel I am trying very hard to get to 500 posts by the time I go to bed tonight.
I was trying yesterday but then I felt unwell and looking at the pc screen made my eyes go really funny and my head hurt even more.
so fingers crossed I shall hopefully reach 500 today, and have the feeling that you have.

That's great! Congratulations! How long have you been working in getting that 500 posts??Sorry,I'm new here, that's why I'm quite inquisitive in my posts. Also, if you don't mind me asking,how much have you earned so far?Thanks for the answer but if mind, I'll understand.

I've been a member here for about 10 weeks and have averaged $5 per week earnings. You can make a lot more than that but I work basically full time so only have a limited amount of time to spend on here.
