Can you make more money off of your own blog or at a place like Squidoo?

I have several Squidoo lenses, but I was wondering if I would do better to just have a blog and put adsense on it. Does adsense really pay? Does Squidoo really pay? Does blogging really pay? Thanks for any advice you can give me!

I'm making money through blogging in niche markets. I found a program that helped my build my first blogs and I still use those steps when I'm building a new blog. If you're interested in learning more about this, you can always contact me, then I'll send you the link.
