They say too much of a good thing is bad.Keeping IPL twice a year would spoil all fun.Plus there's always T20 world cup which will be even more interesting. Also there is quite a ugly side to the IPL.So better have ipl once a year.

a human body is an inefficient machine. If you make players slog for two seasons, India will lose their talents due to injuries preventing them from representing our country on the international platform. Keep it at one season and extract players who are successful. If they plan on keeping 2 seasons, then there should be a new set of players playing for the teams. Agree??

This was the the inaugural one. Let it first go on for a few years and see. Anyway, ICC is already feeling strained to open up a window for IPL season. How would it reschedule the tourneys to accomodate two in a year!

I think that too much of anything is not good, holding the IPL twice a year is not a viable option as it will make the players more conscious about their payments and the masses will also get bored watching this slam bang version of cricket!!

I think ipl twice will not be nice . The international players will not be available twice in India . We have seen that Chennai super kings without hayden and hussey , kolkata knight riders without Mccullum . I need all the international players to participate fully ! the next Ipl should be scheduled such that there is no other international matches going on !
