I'm leaving for vacation!

I just wanted to let everybody know I am going away for a week or two so I won't be here to respond to any discussions. I don't want anyone to think I forgot about them! We are very excited, we haven't gone on a vacation in eons. I will see you all when I get back - you can tell me about your vacation plans this summer on this discussion if you'd like :)

wow! That is exciting vera! Have a great trip and vacation. We are still planning to have our vacation or not since the weather here is on and off!LOL! I wish we can pursue our plan but it will still depends! Enjoy!

Nope I didn't disappear :) I am back now and we did have a good time :) I don't think too much could keep me away from mylot or anything else I do on my computer, lol.

I hope you guys have a fun and relaxing time. Just let your cares and worries go away! I don't think I'll be going on any vacation, but that's OK, when I eventually can go on one, it will mean even more.

It was wonderful! You are right about the longer you wait the more you appreciate it...we waited so very long for this one and we enjoyed every minute of the 104 degree heat where we were staying, lol. My hubby was just so glad he could relax in it instead of working in it! I think it will still be a good summer even without a vacation...I am glad to be back here at home though...i missed my computer & internet friends a bit :)

I too, haven't been on a holiday in eons. So this year my daughter and I are going to go to Vegas for New Years. I know that is a long way off, but we just started a new business so we can't afford the time to go on a holiday before then. We will get to go camping and hiking and such, on the weekends. Since we only live one hour from the BC mountains we will go to them lots. We hav already gone to Banff and Lake Louis a couple weeks ago. It was a very nice drive and the scenery was great. We saw a lot of Moose and Deers.

That sounds like lots of fun...it is always exciting to know it's coming, even if it isn't for a long time yet! We spent a little time here in our mountains, they are so pretty! It will be fun when you go!
