Do you shower and brush your teeth everyday??

No this is not a trick question I'm serious. I know someone who does not shower everyday. Because she thinks once she is not smelling she is clean and doesn't have to shower. She brushes her teeth only if her breath is smelling.
And if you tell her it is smelling and to her it is not then she will not brush her mouth. She says that thousands of years ago people had no toothpaste and they were fine. She said that soap did not even exist yet. She believes that she will be saving more money! By having to by less soap and toothpaste. I think she's a bite crazy.
Do you share the same views as her? Do you shower everyday? How many time for the day do you shower? Do you hold strong on the view that brushing your teeth everyday is important? Well I do.

i brush my teeth too everyday unless i forgot to. XD sometimes... especially when i fall asleep while watching tv late night. other than that, i do shower everyday too

i only shower maybe once a week if im lucky and my wife says i smell fine washing your body everyday kills your skin cell and beleive or not is a cause of body oder the oils on your skin help to stop body oder but most people wash them away and then they forget deodorant and they smell worse if they haddent taking a shower in the first place

I do take a bath everyday. I do brush my teeth at least three times a day everyday. Hygiene is very important. We should not take it for granted.

Yes hygiene is important, but i guess not so important to my friend. i don't brush 3 times a day but i try to do so as many times possible.

I agree with you.
We don't have a shower so have to have a bath which is good as I don't really like showers. I have tablets to take which show all the rubbish on your teeth, the whole family does this once a week.
Hygiene is very important, plus it feels nicer to be clean

Your friend is right in that thousands of years ago people didn't have toothpaste, soap, etc. but they did have water so that they could wash every day and they also had dental problems as well as bad breath unless they used fresh mint or suchlike to clean their mouth.
I do brush my teeth every day. I don't shower every day because we don't actually have a shower and I don't have time to have a bath every day but I do have a proper wash every morning, taking care of smelly bits too. There is no excuse not to keep yourself clean really. Your friend might be saving money on soap, etc. but if she needs to save money then there are other ways such as making soaps or buying a cheaper version.

She wasn't alway like that she spent some years away in the cold. And ever since she has come back she has been like that, for the past year now.
And we live in a hot country!

i brush my teeth at least once a day and shower every few days unless i need one because i'm just dirty. I live on well water and i don't want the well to go dry. Even when i lived on city water i only showered every few days.

Yes i do both every single day. I feel disgusting if i don't do those things especially a shower. My hair just gets completely gross if i go a day without a shower. Its awful it turns into a big pile of grease and oil.

oh cumon. tell her to get a bit cleaned up. no one in the world can smell their own stink. i would never go 2 kilometers to a person who dont brush their teeth and bath daily. That is except one. My girlfriend. I always tell her smells the best before she baths. But she baths anyway just to piss me. I tell her we will be spending the day in bed without her bathing. But she wont agree on that. Rest of everyone in the world should bath :@

I like your gf concept she's right. But there are people who spend the day in bed without showering and they are cool with it. Yes my friend knows she should bath but only when she wants too.

Yes I do shower and brush my teeth everyday, even if I don't smell bad. I'm very uncomfortable if I don't. But I don't go to the point of bringing a toothbrush and toothpaste to work. I'm too lazy to do that.

I have shower and bursh my teeth everyday. If I don't have shower one day I make feel very comfortable in that day. Also, if I don't brush my teeth in the after my wake up in the morning, I can't eat anything. If I don't brush my teeth before go to bed, I am hard to get sleep.

I also can't go a day without showering I'll feel sticky. But i don't really brush at night, I don't always remember too. And i sometimes eat a lot of sweets before i go to bed.

I brush my teeth morning and night. Never had a problem with them although I have my first cavity and that's in my wisdom tooth. The dentist did tell me this has only come about as it's too far back to reach properly and that the rest of my teeth are in great condition for someone of my age. I shower everyday also, sometimes twice.

It's great that you shower and brush everyday. When i was a child I ate a lot of sweet things so i got cavities, i had two fillings done. Next Friday i have to go get my teeth cleaned. I never liked to floss after meals. So i guess I'm paying for it now.

i shower and brush my teeth everyday. most of the times, i do both more than thrice a day especially since i live in the philippines and the climate here goes from hot to very hot. i'm sure if your friend is staying here int he philippines, she'll take a bath and brush her teeth more often and in a regualr basis.

Well allen, we do live in a hot country called Trinidad. It only rains and if there is no rain the place is hot. So living in the Philippines won't change a thing for her. Lol

I shower, wash and do my hair every night before I go to sleep. Most mornings I wake up and take a quick shower but won't wash my hair. I brush my teeth before I go to bed and when I wake up in the morning. I couldn't imagine waiting until someone said I smelled to take a shower or brush my teeth; I feel gross without doing those things daily!

I also love showering and brushing on a regular bases. it's great to know you do that also. But to wait for someone to embarrass me i can't deal with that kind of embarrassment. She doesn't even seem to be bothered.

I don't think bathing every day is really, truly necessary. I bathe daily, but my guy bathes every other day, unless he goes and works out in the yard. He doesn't wear deoderant, either. 
He doesn't stink and he's never had any health problems related to hygiene. I've read many places that say you shouldn't bathe every day because it dries out your skin.
Teeth brushing is a bit different. I brush, at least, once a day, and throughout the day whenever I feel like my mouth needs it. So does most everyone I know.
I don't think your friend is crazy, so much, but I doubt she'll be saving any money by not bathing daily or brushing so often. Sounds like she's been listening to a different radio station than most people.

I take shower twice a day during summer..LOL! I can't stand with hotness even if the a/c is turn on inside the house. ANyway, I have also a friend who use to take a shower regularly and when she got married she changed.LOL! Her husband will not take a bath everyday so she also imitate..LOL!I also brush my teeth twice/thrice a day...depends on my food!

Though I take bath and paste my teeth daily but yes I have some agreement with her whom you know for her excuses.
Yes I also think many animals dont take bath daily and they shine like anything.
secondly and most importantly all animals dont do toothbrush daily and still they never fall sick of any tooth problem. Surprise.

Well it again depend area, culture u r in.
as far as i am concern, i take shower daily either its summer or winter, and in summer some times take shower twice a day. same go with brushing my teeth, i do atleast twice a day, and after eating any thinh i thorough wash my mouth too.
i feel uncomfortable if i dont take bath and do my tooth brush daily. as far history is concern, so all the ancient socities shows use of cosmtic and things to clean, even in stone age

u r right, in hot and humid countries u need to take shower daily, and sure one person cant represent society or cultures as ODD ones are always there
Well we have all 5 season at extreme in our country, summer, it go uo to 50C. winter 0C to -2C, Spring and autum are moderate weather, Rainy season is hot, humid and full of rain and in northern area we have snow too

yes I've seen thing being used too clean the body in those types of shows also. It has nothing to do with our culture she is just nasty at most times. I live in a hot country, only sun and rain here. Never seen snow before only on TV.

It's surprising to find that there are still plw whom actually dun shower and brush their teeth everyday?? Won't her breadth stink from the food the day b4, plus while she's sleeping and she doesn't get to open her food at all for ventilation..
For me, i need to shower at least once a day regardless i'm sweaty or not.. I just find much more comfortable after a shower and therefore it's a must for me to shower everyday.. As for brushing of teeth, i will brush it twice a day, once in the morning and once at night ^_^

She doesn't see it that way and her man excepts her just the way she is. Showering and cleaning my teeth are key things i do before i start my day. She wasn't alway like that, she was normal, but one day she just changed. I don't know what happened!

yes i do take showers every day if your friend does not brushes her teeth i am not jokeing they will pull her teeth and that hurts so i had 3 of my teeth pulled out and one to get fix so pleases tell your friend to take better care of her self i am not trying to mean

The only time i don't take a bath is if I'm really ill. It's a great feeling to be clean at all times. Yes and if am really tired at night I may not bath. But it's o.k. once you have showered in the morning.
