Egg or Chicken

When I was at early teenager age, I remember one of my friends ask a question of who's first egg or chicken? some say egg because without egg there's no chicken (there's a logic on that) and some says chicken comes first because where did the egg came from? It really give puzzle sometimes...

I have two different answers on that question. One is just a joke, the other I would consider to be quite serious. Both logical. So here it goes...
1. Egg. why? who was created first? Adam(male), right? So it must be the "egg" first.
(only adam has a pair of eggs in him)
2.Biblically there was no mention of God creating any egg, What He created were animals, knowing this, I tend to believe that the chicken was the first that was created and eggs came in later through the process of reproduction.
