Easy ways to promote your Helium articles and make money

One of the easiest ways to promote an article published on Helium or Associated Content is by getting your current blog visitors to read your articles. I'm not talking about simply posting a link on your blog and letting it go. Instead, you would want to "presell" the reader on the idea of reading the entire article. And, you can do this, by simply including a one paragraph article excerpt on your blog (maybe the article intro) with a link beneath the paragraph that says, "read this article" or "read more". Your blog readers will read the article intro and click on the link assuming that they're clicking through to another page on your blog to read the article. And, instead they'll be sent to one of your Helium articles, where you will get paid for the page view. You'll want to link directly to one of your Helium articles and not your Helium profile page. Otherwise you won't get paid. To maxiumize your earnings, you might want to include a one paragraph excerpt from each of your Helium articles on your blog with a link to the actual article. I use this technique a lot when promoting my Helium articles and it works for me. Please try it out and let me know what you think. Do you have any other useful tips for promoting your Helium or Associated Content articles?

Good suggestions, beauty. If you will PM me your blog links and helium articles links I would be glad to read them. I like your writing. I have PMed you about this before. Do you get your myLot messages?

Hey you! Sorry I didn't get back to your pm. I had to get offline yesterday late afternoon after my spouse left for work. Yes, I will pm you my blog links and the Helium links too. I am constantly putting up blogs on various topics from making money on Helium and blogging to coupons and movies. I hope that you don't mind if I send you a link when the blog makes its debut. I will also post the links on my blog. Right now, I'm working on a coupon blog and recipe blog. They are not ready for showing, but I will send you the links ASAP. You'll be the first to see them. My movie blog is already up and running and getting a couple hundred page views daily. That's not bad traffic for a blog that's been up less than a month. I was really blessed to have that work out for me. Thanks for asking and please send me your Helium and blog links too, so I can check them out. Be well. (PS Check your pm, I'm sending the links. Send me yours, OK?)

OK you have really caught my interest, I have recently started submitting things to helium and it would be nice to get more people to go to it. Not too much now as there is not much good stuff on it, but when I have built it up a bit I would like to gain more interest. But what is a blog? How do I go about creating one? I am not sure on any of it, I hear people talk about blogs and always wonder what they are? But it sounds like a good idea. Do you write a lot for helium?

Yes, I do write a lot for Helium and have made $10 so far, there. I hope to build it up way past that to a regular part time income, maybe $300 or so every month. Best of luck with Helium. I will try to include some more details about blogs and such later into either this post or another one. Gotta run and make lunch. Be well!

I want to give Helium a try, but I am not sure about the earnings. People says that it really takes long and hundreds of articles to start you earning few cents. After how many articles you are up to $10? Do you have an idea after how many article you can get a regular monthly income of at least &100?

I don't know what helium is, but used to write some for associated content. I got discouraged there when 2 of my last 3 articles were declined. Anyhow, since you were talking about them,I thought I would ask you. Recently I am seeing associated content articles rotating in traffic exchanges. Are they now paying per view rather than per article (if accepted) now? Thanks, Marsha

Interesting. I've been looking for ways to promote my work on Helium and Associated Content. I feel so lost sometimes and broke. Thank you for clearing this up for me. I've tried doing the blog thing and fell flat. I might start one again soon and hopefully the correct way. I think I'll also join online groups for writers or something. I think that would help too.
