Update on my ebay issue...

On Monday or Tuesday I posted about an issue I had with a seller...and that I checked her feedback after I bought from her and learned it was an ongoing issue.... Well I received all but one item today. The one I'm still missing is the one I referred to in my last post that was actually purchased and paid for on May 6th. So I sent her another message...still friendly...saying I was pleased with the items I have received but that I was still missing one. Maybe she'll respond to this one since she never answered the last one I sent her the day I started the other discussion.

Have your reported the problem to Paypal? I don't have much faith in Ebay's ability to resolve disputes from my own past history with them but Paypal has done a good job for me in the past. You only have a limited amount of time to open a claim so you might want to consider doing that now. If the item comes you can close the claim but, if the seller doesn't cooperate with Paypal they have the ability to return your money to you.

I checked and I have 60 days to file a claim with ebay so I will give it a bit longer since I did receive the other items I ordered. I don't know what paypal's time frame is but I'll check that later.

Yes, definitely check Paypal's Resolution Center. We've used them before and have always been satisfied with the results. My husband buys and sells a lot of motorcycle parts so every once in a while a seller won't send what he's purchased and, like you, he tries to be patient but he always stay inside of Paypal's dispute window. Ebay has been a big disappointment whenever we've reported a problem to them so he never turns to them for help. Good luck!

I'm just now finding the update on your ebay issue. LOL I guess I should have read down farther in my mylot discussion responses. I'm glad things have gotten better. I'm going to keep reading your posts to see if you have ever received that last item or not.

I'm sorry to hear but Foxyfire. I was going to buy a Chinese dress on ebay for my wedding. I already bid but backed out because I realized I wanted or needed to try the dress on first before I decide if I really wanna buy it. Good thing I didn't because I went to a Chinese shop and found a dress which was 50% cheaper than what I saw on ebay. Anyway, another reason I backed out was I checked the feedbacks on the seller and one negative was enough to turn me off. It said something like it took more than a month for the ordered dress to arrive.

I still don't understand why she did not send them all together. It would have made shipping so much cheaper. I would send her another message that she has until Monday to mail it out to you and send you an email with a tracking number to prove that she actually mailed it out or you are going to file a dispute with PayPal.

I'm glad to see that you have received almost everything from this seller. I guess the seller just does a bad job getting their items shipped and it doesn't make much sense to ship several items seperately (when they could have shipped together and perhaps refund some of the shipping fees to you) Maybe this seller buys items on Ebay and flips them for more money and gets caught waiting for shipments to arrive. I know of many sellers that will buy items on Ebay that they plan to resell. They use the pictures from the original Ebay listing for their own listing (which is okay to do, per Ebay, as long as the original seller doesn't complain about it) Perhaps this is the case and perhaps the excuse they gave you is really the reason for the slow shipping. Hopefully they will respond to your email and get your item out...but keep an eye on the calendar, don't let that 60 day mark for Paypal pass you by!

Foxyfire, I would definitly contact paypal if you used them. I have dealt with a problem like this before and Ebay did not help much had to go through paypal themselves. But be careful you only have so much time to do this in. If you dont hear anything back from seller today I would go ahead and report to paypal.

I thought people started selling things on e-bay to make money. The way this seller is going she will have such a bad rep. that no one will buy from her. I bet you won't again! I wouldnt.
