internet effect

The internet has a corrupting quality and much as am here most of the time, I personally feel more at ease alone these days than before i got so deep into the internet- most of the time am more inclined to communicate with faceless people than with real social beings, this is changing my life negatively. Ofcourse for anything, there are good and bad sides-there many wonderful benefits of the internet-i enjoy the enormous infor that I get from the internet!

i think internet give positive effect. i can searching anything on the internet. i just can says it's depend on the people want to search. more information can find on the internet.include this MYLOT, we can share information to anyone...

for students there are lots of sites, information, forum, which could helps in their subject.Internet helps the student in their preparetion of exams, chating with friends, and seeing the exam results as well.all is possible due to the coming of internet.I think its effecting the student more in positive then otherwise.

The internet is a wonderful tool for finding information and working on assignments. I think it becomes negative when young people use it solely for talking to other people. This is when it becomes dangerous and I believe it is actually anti-social. The normal face to face interaction is not there and this could lead to an inabillity to read body language and a loss of social skills. Like everything else in life it should be used in moderation.

Positive for people with positive mind, and negative for those with negative thought. I'm not fooling you, but internet just same as tv. If student use it to search for information, then it's give positive. If student just use it to play game or search for adult content, can you say it positive?

we cannot say simply as it is affecting or not affecting. its depends on the student and how he uses the internet. he may be using in positive side and also in negative side. there is nothing outside the internet. internet contains all the tings that are in the world. in both positive and also in negative. so its depends on the usage of the student.

for me, it's positive....coz internet really helps students in researching on something....if they need informations about something, then they just search it through the net....internet became essential to us not just for students but also for all of us....

As long as the student will have that balance. positive in a way because internet searching is fast, and you can really get lots of informations for projects, research and assignments. Negative in a sense that some students play, games not related to their education. With that students must be able to discipline their selves. They must have that sense of balance, computer as a helping tool and as leisure device.

either of the two, somewhat negative and somewhat positive..it's positive because students can get a wide information other than the books.internet as a utility of study, is like a spoon feeding to students..they can have so much information at lesser research time as compared to book reports..the effect is somewhat negative to students since they can access forbidden or adult sites..they may abuse internet utility to gather information and may end up in a violent personality due to a negative information they get.. happy posting!

It solely depends pon the way internet is used by a particular person. You can use it for gathering knowledge or for spoiling yourself. The same thing applies to every single service not just internet.

Positive beacause they can learn so many things really fast, because they don't see it as a homework but as an entairtenment. The more they learn about the world, the better. Also the exchange of ideas on the net is something very helpful. Of course internet can never be enough for someone's education, and schools will always be needed.

i think it is totally on us how we want to use it. if we want we can make a negative thing out of it and if we like then we can utlislise the postives of this medium

I would say both. As long as the student wants to use internet to gain new informations, the effect will be positive. but there are plenty of websites to distract him, especially games sites.

it depend on that person, what they like to do on the internet, positive if the find some good information on the net but very very negative if they find something bad ;)

For me internet is positive as I am taking online courses for college. If not for the internet I would not be able to obtain my degree due to time demands from my job which is a rotating schedule and also my family responsiblities. I think the biggest negative affet of the internet is the many sites that offer reports or the many ways that students can cheat! Overall internet has a positive effect, only some stuents use it in a negative way.
