Reality Shows and the disabled

I would love to be on a reality show but can't. I watch Big Brother and Survivor everytime they come on. I wear leg braces and use a walker so I couldn't participate.I'm sure the public wouldn't want to watch a bunch of handicapped people !!!! It would be fun.

You might be surprised. I just watched the american gladiators show that had a guy with one leg competing. He did not win but he had earned everyones admiration and respect. He got more camera talk time than the guy who won. Everyone thought he was really awesome. You might not win but you sure could try to get on one.

I agree with the first post, I think there's a way that people with physical barriers can participate in some of these shows. It may not be possible with Survivor since most of the challenges and the like are very physical. But, on shows like Big Brother, I don't see why anyone with a disability can't participate. I think in that show, they're looking for interesting personalities. If you are serious about it, you can contact the show and go through the screening process.
