What You dont Like about your city?

I like my city very much, the beaches, the breeze, the view, the friendly people.. The only thing that I dont like is that now people start building lots of hotels, apartments, villas... Like we dont have enough... Everywhere I go I saw a construction is being build. I think that is just destroying the view and the peacefull live we have here...
The most annoying construction I saw is at my favorite beach, Dreamland. It was a quiet and beautiful beach with cliffs surrounding it. This is a paradise for the surfer and only few people know about this beach. As the beach now become more famous, They start destroying the cliffs and now building a golf course around that area, and some buildings so close to the beach... Hhhh... What can I say. Maybe in another 10 years this island will be a metropolis city...

Your city is nice, but now it has been over commercialised and thus spoiling the natural beauty of it :( IN my country, there isn't really anything that i dun like, except for the attitude of our ple here..
Singaporeans tend to be boastful and never gives way.. Always like to take advantage of things and complain upon the slightest things.. SOmetimes i just feel so ashamed to be a singaporean..

Ow.. I Like Singapore, The most clean country I've ever visit..Everything is just so nice there.. But yes I agree about the complain..

Your government do a nice things and at least I never saw any singaporean throw rubbish on the street during my stay there..

Hi there afternoontea. There are some things that i like and some that i don't about my city, but since this is a topic about the downside i will stick to the point:
- it's a bit dirty, and there are people (unfortunately) that don't make an effort toward solving this problem (example: there are people that even if a garbage bin is at 5 feet from them, they will still throw the trash on the ground)
- it's a bit overcrowded - you don't want to be caught in traffic from 15 p.m. until 20 p.m. in the center of the city, or you'll loose hours there.
- to many stray dogs and cats - i like cats, so it doesn't bother me, but the dogs do bother me as i was bitten by a stray dog when i was a kid (with NO reason at all)
I think those are the downsides of BUCHAREST.

Thanks elites... I dont like stray dog too.. and there are lots of stray ddogs in my city.. I never been bitten by dogs (hopefully will never) but there are these dogs on the way to my house that loves to bark at me and chase me (its seems so much fun to them).. I was wondering to buy an ultrasonic dog chaser to keep them away from me..

There are some advantages and disadvantages in my city. I think the bad side is the crime. I think the crime is serious here. I have to keep alert when I go out. Besides, we have to lock our doors and windows well to avoid the break-in. I hope this situation will improve soon.

Oh I think the crime in my place is now increasing. bali was famous for its safety long time ago.. Well everything changed. Eventhough it is still safe.. I hope it would go worst...

Well, I live in Sao Paulo/SP (Brasil), it's a nice place to live, but like most of big cities, it has pollution problems... And here in Sao Paulo rains A LOT! So we have some serious flood problems...

I like my city soo much. The beaches, the humid and cool climate, its landscape and all. But now I hate the slums that have started mushrooming around the beaches and even near the town centre. Local people are building funny glass thatched houses and the city council is doing nothing about it. People are grabbing the government property and doing whatever they wish with it.

oh yes.. That is happened to my city too.. People started bulding all this glass house along the beach which destroy the beach and makes it look messy..

there are a lot of things that i like about my city, Davo City, we have a newly constructed park(Peoples Park), we have clean air..tourist spots,we a peace and orderly surroundings and we were recognized as the most livable city..but one thing that i dont like about my city is the summary execution of almost all criminals that even innocents were victims of a summary execution.

Oh my God, that is a horrible things happened to a beautiful city as you describe.. I don't mind the criminals but I hope they dont include the innocent..

What i like in my home City Philippines is the people are really friendly and hospitality,our own forest our place called the THE GREEN ISLAND,no pullotion and nice country,Now i am living here in Sweden my second city with my husband.I like many here,the government no curroption,clean country,nice education free for 9 years for children and the people are nice and kind.Here you can breath fresh air because no much car here instead we had busses and tram so it will be easy to go where ever you want to go.
