What type of person are you? Forgive or forget?

forgive and forget are two things. maybe I can forgive someone after think it over and make the problem clear,accept the fact. However, forgive is only choice for us because hate is much painful. we need too long time to forget till delete him in my heart

I'm a little bit of both. I mean, I think you have to temporarily forget so that you can forgive and get on with your life. Also, I'm definitely a believer in second chances and I understand that mistakes happen so it's just much more pleasant to forgive AND forget.

I don't forgive people easily, I just need some space before forgiving them. When you were hurt or betrayed by someone else it's not easy to forgive. I do forgive people but it takes time. I can't forget such things that happened. Though I realized things happens for such a purpose, we were learned from it.

I am a person who will prefer forgive and forget.If i know that the person who really deserve for forgiveness and want my forgiveness with sincerity.I can easily forget bad things she/he did to me,and also when I know that the person really saying the truth deep in his/her heart i can easily forgive and forget. But when I know that, that person is not really sincere and showing plastic. I will just forgive but I cannot forget it easily.It takes a year before I forget it.

Er``I think I am a bit like you.I always forgive others if they say sorry to me.But I can not forget what happened easily.Maybe it is because I have a good memory.But it doesn't matter.As things have past,I will just leave the memories as a fortune.

I guess I'm the one who would take some time to forgive (depends upon the mistake;)) and would never forget. I take things very seriously if it affects my life in anyways. I try to forget things but it just won't happen I don't know why!I still remember my friends and all their mistakes made in childhood..lol

I am the person that will forgive but not forget, I will not put myself in the same situation that the affliction of hurt will come my way again. We should always give forgiveness if we want be forgiven.

Hello ieeko89. If the person admits he or she realizes his or her mistakes then that is the time I will forgive that person but, I wont easily forget what he or she has done. Like you, my first bf did some mistakes in the past. I did forgave him but, I didnt forget the things he has done to me.

I might forgive if I know someone's sorry by them apologizing, but I sure as hell won't forget! If they don't apologize, I won't do either. Oh, and they might say they're sorry, but then they'll keep on f**king you over time and time again, so why do they deserve either one?

Forgive or Forget? Which one? hehe! It's too difficult to choose. But in my opinion, Forgive it first, forget it then.Everyone is continuing changing all his life,during which he would make many mistakes,including myself. So to me, I wish others could forgive me and forget it when I make some mistakes. However, I think everyone should stand opponent's place to think about problems. So, we could know how to deal with the problems we face and how to choose :Forgive or Forget!

i will forgive but not forget bcoz that person makes the same mistake again the there is no chance for forgiveness..

me same to u i forgive poeples but never forget what they done to me specially when someone really close to u.some time not forgive to realize other his/her mistake.

I'm the same type as you ieeko89. I can and I want to forgive everyone I have to, but I can't forget. I think that this is reasonable. You have your inner peace and still you know who is capable to what. Who you can really trust.

I'd rather to forgive and to forget than to hold the grudge. That way I can move on with my life and once it passed then I would not matter about it anymore but to keep note that I have to become a better person in future by learning mistakes in the past.

well i forgive cause takes a bigger person to do so, but time and love help to heal you to forget.

well truely speaking i am a kind of forgive and forget person but you know things are not the same every time.there will a kind of situations in your life which you can not forget in your life nor can you forgive the person who made you to suffer. i think every person faces such a situation in his life atleast once.

I'm someone who can forgive and forget easily as well as forgive easily and wun forget.. Sounds complicated huh.. haha ^_^ I also dunno y, but i dun mean to purposely remember all the unhappy things, but it's just etch in my mind after things happen and i just cant forget it no matter how long and how hard i try..
