Name the good and bad things about the Internet.

I met my husband online when it wasn't so cool to be internet dating! It was so embarrassing to tell everyone how we met. I tell you I was very nervous about meeting him in person after hearing about my sisters friend....this guy she know was chatting up a wonderful lovely blond and decided he was in love. He kept chatting and finally asked to meet in person. low and behold his gorgeous blond was male. Be so careful when online. The truth is that you don't know for sure who you are communicating with.

Good and Bad thing: Information is just around the corner

Well, there are many good things. I Love being able to communicate and meet others online from all around the world. It also gives us a chance to keep in contact with family and friends from all over as well. Another good thing is to be able to play games, and kill some time. Also to be able to earn money online with an online Business, or from sites such as this, is another plus as well. Yes, the problems with Criminal issues online will continue as long as there is the internet. Main issue is Identity theft, and Virus's invading the Internet. The main thing is teaching all of the New people who are coming online all of the time, how to protect themselves from these Scams and Virus's.

Negative aspects: 1. Leads to macular degeneration 2. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome 3. Chronic mastrubation 4. Vitamin D deficiency from lack of sunlight 5. bad posture 6. anal presure blisters 7. forearm soreness 8. sleep deprivation Positive aspects: 1. Can get you laid 2. Can get you a job 3. Can get you just about anything

The good things are...finding answers to questions you may have, finding anything you can really think of online shopping, you can keep intouch with people easier, you can work from home, and there are just to many positives to mention. As far as bad things about the internet, I can think of really only one...It get ADDICTING!! lol

spyware its a terrible thing if u buy online u could end up with a huge debt the good thing is u can make money for posting these messages

I agree with you about the good things - I just love that I can speak to people all round the world that I would never have "met" if it wasn't for the internet. Bad things I would say are the opportunities it presents for criminal activities and the sick people in society like paedophiles. Oh and spam - I hate spam!!

Good things: keeping in touch with ppl I love, paying bills, being able to help my boys do research for papers, meeting new friends from all over the world, easier access to shopping. Bad things: stalkers, more identity theft happens, hackers, way too many ppl being taken in by scams

I try not to dwell too much on the bad things.. The one bad thing that stands out like a sore thumb is the virus and hackers.. The good things.. how many people can interract and talk to one another ..email, discuss etc.+

Good: freedom and equality, quantity of informations, communities and forums, distance reduction, online services like banking and trading online. Bad: scams, spam, it's attracting big companies interested in controlling it

i get all information i need ...... there r more advantages than disadv. only disadvantage i see is that there lot of hacker, spyware, viruses.....etc which make internet harmful.

Good things are that you can make money and interact with family and friends all over the world. The bad thing is that there is a chance that you might get hurt by someone you meet on the internet.

The good thing about the internet is basically sharing of information, easier, quicker access to information that would take too long to accumulate otherwise, entertainment....... The bad things? Nothing, people can do bad things in life and on the internert, the internet is not bad, it is just shall we say medium? People can be good or bad, not the medium.
