How old were you when you purchased your first home?

I just purchased my first home with my partner at the age of 28 - a lovely newish house with a yard and an attached garage. :) I've actually be wanting to buy a house now for many, many years, but saving for the downpayment was long process. With the rising cost of real estate these days, I notice amongst my friends, that people are a lot older when they purchase their first place of residence nowadays. What are your thoughts on this and how old were you when you purchased your first home/condo/townhouse?
