NANOWRIMO stands for National Novel Writing Month. It is every November. There are a couple of other writers here at myLot, that I know are doing Nano. It is a competition, but with no real prize other than self satisfaction of knowing you wrote 50,000 words of a novel in one month. I posted this on the 2nd...the 2nd day of the competion hoping other writers would reply. Oh well. I am now at 7500 words...probably won't make my 50k, but thats alright. It isn't too late to join in if you want. Thank you for asking though. I appreciate it.

Hey, I know what you are talking about and it is now almost the end of day 12 and I have a whole 4,000 words, lol. I am not doing good at all. Only 46k to go. Check it out at
