I need to find a way to make $500 IN A WEEK. Any ideas? I have applied for a job and have an interview Wed. but that will not get me money for rent soon enough. I am open to any legal suggestions, PS no credit history so probably can't get a loan or credit card;( I thought about selling stuff on ebay, but what kind of stuff sells? Any suggestion at all, please!

Hi walker, Sorry to hear that you are in this position, It isn't nice. I'm not from the USA so I don't know much about the services the state you live in may be able to offer you. But since you are in the USA you are in the perfect position to succeed on certain websites that international members don't have much luck with or just aren't accepted. Let me give you a few sites that might be able to help, even if just a little. I'm going to recommend Review Stream first because you get your cash on the same day you request payout (straight to your Paypal account) and their minimum really isn't hard to reach. Right now as I am on myLot I'm also using Amazon's Mturk and have earned over $10USD for the week already and this must be for maybe spending an hour or so there per day doing HITS while doing other stuff. You are in the USA so you can withdraw your total straight to your bank account. I'm going to put my money into their gift certificate option to buy gifts for people and stuff for me. I've heard lots of good things about CashCrate, I hear people saying they've been paid thousands when they add up the checks they've gotten from this site. I hope this helps you out a little. Good luck and all my best wishes to you.

Oh, I forgot to say, if you use these programs in a combination maybe you can make $500. by the end of the week. I do hope so! But you really got to go at it full on...I just do this in my spare time.

I started with cash crate, and in a few minutes I have already earned $5. Plus if I can get some referals for the site I will get $3 for each person, If any one would like to help let me know I will send you my link. Thanks Roxanne on to another website to earn more, every cent gets me closer to my goal!!

Thank you ROXANNE, I tried Review Stream and posted a review about an issue I had with the auto shop I last used and within an hour of it being posted on thier site I recieved an email from the owner, she gave me a full refund, the jerk that treated me so badly was fired and I was taken care of by her!!!! That is $100 less I have to come up with, Thank you and the good Lord for letting my post be read by the right person at the right time. I am so stoked!!!!!!

You could get paid for giving a pint of blood. If you are young and fit and you drink plenty of water you could maybe give 3 pints in a week? It won't be $500 but if you give what you have got and explain the situation and promise to make up the difference, with interest, maybe the landlord will recognise you have made a real effort and carry forward the balance of the rent. Tough one. Let us know how you got on.

I didn't know that you could get paid for blood, I donated through my school several times and didn't get paid. I did not mind much though because I knew it was helping someone. I will check into that, I need to start donating again anyway, now that it has been several years since my tatoo.

Wow! How did you get into a situation where you needed so much money so quickly? OK, don't tell me and I shouldn't have asked because I go through being broke stages quite often and I know that it ain't nice. I don't think credit history should be a hindreance to you getting a credit card or a loan. You just got to have an employment history of sorts so that the banks will be able to see that you have the means to pay them back. Alternatively, you could also talk to friends and relatives. Every cent counts and don't feel too proud to talk to friends and family if you really need help. As for eBay, I think you just got to get creative and try and sell just about anything you can think of. Who knows? It could be the vocation you never thought you'd have. And keep posting on Mylot, even if it can't pay you $500 within a week, it's like dropping your spare change into a jar - by the end of the month, it all adds up to something fairly significant.

I will share cuase I want to vent. I have a job working online for a telecommunications company. I completed training and was told I could start taking calls in two days, this was almost a month ago. I stil can not take calls because they have not sent my logins or made me active. I have called numerous times and I keep getting told that I will be able to work tommorow. Needless to say I have applied for a new job, have an interview on Wed so I should have some income coming in soon, unfortanetly that does not pay my rent. Will keep posting.

You're in a tough situation here. Trying to get a credit card is probably your best bet (no credit history is much better than a BAD credit history), even if you have to accept an exorbitant interest rate. Maybe you could find a part-time job where you can start working immediately, but that would require some luck. You could try selling or pawning some of your belongings as a last resort...I know how hard that can be. I wish I could point you to some magic way to make money online quickly, but there's nothing very quick about making money online. It takes time and patience not just to build up your earnings but also to receive your payments. Someone suggested Cash Crate for you, but that wouldn't work because you'd have to wait a month to get your check even if you "earned" the money quickly. You could use Mechanical Turk to raise some quick money, but even there you'll have to wait for a bank transfer to clear to get the money. (And you'll have to have a bank account already!) Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck with everything.

Bummer I just tried and because I moved two months ago and switched jobs I am not approved, maybe if I get a cosigner? My sis would probably help me there but I know she don't got the cash. I will try Mech. Turk, I had never heard of that! Thanks I am sure the good Lord will see me through this as He has always been there for me!

I am afraid I don't have any suggestions other than a yard sale. I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. Good luck and BIG HUGS!
