A wife and husband are people that you will love unconditionally. Someone you take a vow with that cannot be broken. They are people that will be beside you during the good times and support you through the bad times.
A girlfriend or a boyfriend are people that you can test the waters with. They are the ones that you try to find an everlasting relationship with. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.
