What? No one told you? Remember in 2001 when we all got the same thing to stimulate the economy after that terrible day of September 11th? Guess what we had to deduct it from our tax refunds in 2002? So when you file your taxes in 2009 don't be surprised when your refund is a lot smaller than you were anticipating.

Sassy that is what I thought as well, but the IRS page says that the stimulus check will not affect our 2008 tax return.... We shall see I suppose.

No it will just put us in higher tax brackets :((( But your right Angel we will have to see

Hi mfpsassy yes I do remember that and we just got a letter stating we are getting alot lesser then we accepted.

Hi TerryZ You actually got that letter? Most people didn't and went into panick mode when they were filling out their taxes and couldn't remember how much they got. Make sure you hang on to the letter you got/get when you get the rebate this year
