After that when ever I open any office application by default ms-office installation will start. Can any one pls tell me how can I disable this installation procedure whenever I open ms-office application.

Hello ankilla! The reason why you get that message ("Preparing to install...") is because MS Office is not yet completely installed. There are several components that are yet to be installed, and it requires your CD. Just put your CD when it prompts you to do so, wait for a few minutes (for the necessary components to be installed), and then all programs will start normally. Hope that helps.

What I did here is redo the installation and do a custom install. I set all program that I need to run all from my computer and I have never deleted the installation files. This one works for me.
