Stress!! how to deal with it?

Oh!! that's the big questions now. Almost all people are in stress today because of problems. MONEY is the most common source of stress because if you have no money, you will be in a lot of troubles. Gas,bills,tuition fees for kids, food.. oh!! stress... How did you deal with it?

The best way to deal wih money stress is to realse one's need to "keep up with the Jones'" Release that need and that desire. We sped way too much money trying to "keep up." I don't have a TV because I am not home enough to think that I really need it. I don't have the internet at home either, because I spend time at the coffee shop, and use the internet there. I do have a cellphone bcause my husband works in the USA and I'm i Canada, so we want to keep in touch. Those are just examples. Neither one of us bother with status, and we really don't have egos that need to be constantly troked.

It's not self sacrifice at all. That is NOT what I meant. What I meant is that we need to learn how to not desire those expensive things in the FIRST place!!! If I never wanted a pet elephant, I will feel no sadness when I am unable to aquire one.

wow!! I like that idea. At least it cuts off your expenses. yes, you are right!! if we just know how to sacrifice a little? like what others said?.... SELF DENIAL.. we will deny our wants in order to cut expenses.

I think that taking out the time to do things that you truly like are great ways to manage stress. I think reading books is very comforting and it really helps. Movies helps to take my mind off of it, or maybe going to buy myself some ice cream (limited time only, lol)

I have the same problem like anybody else here in the world. Money and Debts. Well, if you ask me, its a part of life so we have no choice but to get use to it and run its course. My advice to you my friend is that you just treat it like any ordinary problem. Try to solve at the soonest possible time. Don't let the problems get bigger and more complicated, otherwise you'll get even more stressed than ever. Why do I say that? Been there, done that. Right now I am still having a lot of stress to my work, at home, money, debt and other problems that compressed all in my head. Just pray and everything will be alright. A friend told me that. Sometimes it works. I know I had. Just relax and everything will be stress free.

Oh yes, I just prayed about it. That;s the only thing i can do. Much more today that I lost my job and we have lots of debts to pay.. I just take it to the Lord in prayer. I can not not solve it myself.

Don't let your heart be troubled... oh life, life, life!!! try to be positive.... this is what I do when I'm so so stressed out, I take a deep breath, take a walk just enjoy the sunshine, the flowers, things that sometimes we neglect no notice, I take a bubble bath while listening to Kenny G's or do things that I enjoy!!!. Prayer is a big help too!!! have you heard the song of Natasha Bedingfield titled, Happy?

I did not hear that song but yes, Prayers do help a lot. That;s the only thing I do,, prayer... and God is providing our needs.

really? loud music? Oh my!! it might add to my stress. I don;t like loud music much more in it is rock music? it drives me nuts... I might be in more stress.

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage stress, as it is part of life in busy world. But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation.
