The View Needs To Improve It's View

When Rosie left The View, things were supposed to calm down. I'm not a fan of co-host Elizabeth, but she's the obvious minority when it comes to her political opinion.
Often when she speaks of republican candidates she's talked over or mocked.
I'm also a little put off with the talk of how historic Barack Obama's nomination is. Barack Obama is not just an African American man he is a bi-racial man, yet consistently that fact is overlooked.
It's as if Barack Obama's mother was insignificant. I'm an African American woman raising two bi-racial boys and would be offended if half of who they are was dismissed.
Improve your view.

I came across your discussion and couldn't pass up the chance to make a comment about the View. I agree with Elizabeth's views and I also think that she is talked over and mocked. There should be another conservative on the program to have a balanced view. At least when Barbara is on the others treat her with some respect in that it is her show, but I also think she is fair when it comes to varying viewpoints. The only reason I watched the "View" before is when Rosie was on but she gradually started having something like a nervous breakdown and I just feel bad for her now even though I didn't always agree with her. I have no desire to watch it now because of their political bias and not enough balance. Thanks for the question so I could get this off my chest. Have a good day. Take care.

Great response. I never thought I'd come to Elizabeth's defense, because I also enjoyed Rosie's time on the view and often felt Elizabeth was wrong during many of their disagreements. I realize Rosie didn't handle many of the arguments correctly either.
I rarely watch it now unless there is a good guest on. I think they need to do a better job of presenting a broader view.

Well, we now have President Elect Obama. America has sided with us supporters. Now the serious work begins...
Still, this calls for a cerebration! I wish I could afford to be D.C. for his swearing in, friend.

I heard on the Morning news the latest on-going spat between Rosie and the View Crew. Will it ever end?
