I love Judge Judy for the same reason's you have listed. I watch her show all the time and even got my husband hooked on it.

I like Judge Judy because she can tell who's lying and who's telling the truth. Exactly what a good judge should do.

that wench is mean as hell, but she's fair. i like that she doesn't hold her tongue and keeps it real, but sometimes she does need to add a little "honey to that pot of vinegar"

I've heard her tell people to shut up and all that..she is a little mean..I don't really watch her..I'd rather watch Judge Mathis..when he goes off on people, he isn't just doing it because he is a judge..

oh i love Judge Mathis he is my favorite AND Judge Mabelyn of divorce court.I wonder what happened to her some other lady took the show trying to be like her.

Judge Judy is no joke; And she lets you know it from the get go so you make no mistakes about it; but I like that because some folks will come and use you for their advantage, and she has this no nonsense attitude that lets you know that when you step into her court, come correct.

I think a lot of the time, she makes some good points. BUT I think she's way too harsh, and too quick to believe and adult over a child. She seems fair, but I do agree she's mean. She says things in a manner which could be said MUCH better. Niceness gets you everywhere!
