Hi. I can't handle the taste of carrot juice. But if I want to get the nutrients from vegetables that I know that I'm missing, I get them from vegetable juice. You can even buy it in low sodium form now. I used to add salt and pepper to it before I was diagnosed with high blood pressure. So to replace the salt that I dearly miss, I still add pepper, but with original Mrs. Dash. Very tasty! Far as I know, it is as good as the whole vegetable or at least the daily amount required for a good diet. Consult a dietian to be sure.

I have drank celery juice before. One big glass - as big as the one on my profile pic. Its nice and healthy. A bit of sugar was added to it to take away the raw taste. I think for vege juice you gotta add some honey or sugar to it cause all will have that raw vege taste

vegetable juice is good for the body. There is a book, "Juicy Lady" i think, i'm not so sure (someone borrowed it and didn't return the book) which have a lot of vegetable combinations for several ailments. The taste is delicious because it is a blend of so many vegetables. As for the nutrients, juicing fresh vegetables doesn't destroy much of the nutrients as in cooking. And the juice is easily absorbed by our digestive system.

Add some apple and lemon, tomato and you can see the difference. Carrot juice needs to be make fresh and drink after making. I always add other vegetables for taste. I love also cabbage and beets mixed with tomato and spice... You can create your own combination....

I also got to try carrot juice once. Right there and then I had decided that I would rather eat a sack of carrots raw than drink it. LOL! I never tried any other vegetable juice since then.

Are you talking about out of the can/bottle or from a juicer? My husband, kids, and I drink fresh vegetable juice and it tastes so much better than those that have been canned or bottled. I cannot stand vegetable juice that way, and neither can our kids. For example V8 makes me want to hurl whenever I happen to get a whiff of it. As my husband likes to drink it, I can't get away from the smell.

I love vegetable juices. I can drink carrot juice just as it is. But I have a juicer recipe book that shows if you're making veggie juices it's best to add some apple to sweeten things up a big. I've used carrots, cellery, beets, all kinds. Also make all kinds of fruit juices too. With juice, you're missing the fiber, but you can get lots of nutrients in a small glass.

my mom buys juice from fruit magic and she mixes carrot juice with other fruits like pineapple, orange and apple...and I have to say that it tastes really good. But I don't really like carrot juice by itself...I find the taste very weird..and I find it bitter.

Vegetables are healthy. And to drink vegetables in a juice form is just another way to consume them. However eating vegetables in cooked form is better as you can end taste to them as per your preference. But with juices I must say vegetables are not the best candidates than fruits. Some exceptions are Carrots which are ok when in juice form. But mostly I don't drink vegetable juices.

I like the tomato based vegetable juice you can buy. Personally I don't like the idea of cleaning up a juicer so I don't even try. I've had some juice that was a blend of carrot and orange. To my surprise that was really very nice. I suppose that they did add some stuff in there to make the carrot palatible though. Although the whole idea of getting the health benefits from freshly squeezed vegetable is one to be applauded I think I'll stick with the vegetable juice from the carton.

I would rather have carrots in a salad than drink the juice. Though mixing it with any fruit juce or adding pepper to it would alter the taste.

I like to take carrot juice with milk and ice cube added. I will take lotus root juice during dry season when the weather is rather hot as people here believe that this vegetable juice could lower the heat of our body. The plain juice tastes a bit sweet. I feel that it is more delicious if required amount of lemon juice and honey are added to it. My sister forwarded an email to me few weeks back about the combination of juice prepared from vegetable and fruit. The juice is blended by putting a potato, an orange and a carrot in a blender. It is believed that the blended juice is very good for our heath if having it daily, but I haven’t tried it yet.

The closest I have had is tomato juice or V8.....I like a tomato juice once in a while and also get a craving for V8...but I drink on glass and that's all I need. The rest goes to waste so I don't buy it very often.

What I have found that works best is to add apple juice to the carrot juice if you are making the juice fresh from a machine after extracting the carrot juice just add 1 or 2 apples into the juicer and allow the juice to pour right into the carrot juice...it is sooo good I use to make that all the time..I found Jack Lalayn's book on juicing to be a big help with juice combinations.. you could probably get it on line.. I think I'll go make myself some fresh juice..:) yum...

Carrot juice can be very nice. YOu have to add a little milk and sugar to it. YOu can try mixing carrot and orange juice . It is a good combination. You can make juice out of cucumber, tomato, radish and things. It will not be as good as fruit juice but it is good for health.

I think vegetable juice have high nutritional value,it is as good as the whole vegetable. You can mix some vegetable and fruits together to make the vegetable juice taste better. For example, you can put orange and carrot together,or make a carrot and apple mixture juice, and a slice of lemon will make your juice more delecious.they are all fresh and nature, will not do harm to our health.please feel assured to drink them.
