Well I just counted, and I have 14 discussions with no responses. I think it would be nice to have most discussions with at least one response, so I can get it out of my unresolved discussions tab. So I know this has done before, but if we all get together we can take care of all of our 0 responses. As soon as you respond, I ill take a look at your discussions with no responses, and respond to them. This is a community environment, and I think its nice when we can help each other. Maybe by payout, we can have responses to all of our discussions!

I answered one of your discussions. So if you go to my profile, my unanswered or only one or two response discussions should be at the top because I did not start any new discussions because I want an answer, especially about the one about Battlestar Galactica, I just got an answer from the StarTrek lover guy and I want more imput rather than his.

I've one or two of my discussion don't have response, and I start to get experience over time , and I've a lot of discussions with alot of responses. Just try to evolve nice interesting discussions and you will see the difference, try to evolve life-based problem, what you counter in life, this is most attractive discussions.

Hi jess its really strange as u r in my friends list since long and my way of responding is that whenever my friend start a discussion, i get notification at my hotmail, i go to that particular discussion or response, Respond to it and close it I heard since last few days , Notifications are not delivered properly so that mighrt be reason. But some their are discussion about local new or topic which i am not aware so i dont respond to them, but its very rare And sure i like ur approach of helping each other, i will try to look at them Ok now cheers

Well, some of my discussions with no responses are from over a year ago. So a few probably were started before we became friends. Thank you for the help!

I frequently answer discussions from the 0 response area. I don't think I have any with 0 right now, but I do have a few with just 1 I think. It looks like most of yours have been commented on now.

No problems, just send me the links to your discussions without responses and I'll try to get to some of them. I hope they're opinion-based questions and not fact-based questions, because my knowledge circle is not big and facts may be a little too big for me to comprehend! Anyway, so far, I think all of my discussions are responded to at least once, but I would still appreciate some input to some of them. Thanks a lot, take care and happy mylotting!

Hi Jess! I've responded to a few, while some others are either too technical for me or they just don't suit me. Hope you're OK with that!

Oh jess, I would have responded to your discussions if I had been at home instead of swanning around the UK enjoying my mother's 80th birthday celebrations! Now I'm back and the power keeps going off. They are doing a lot of work on new houses etc around Punta Cana and I think that they have to keep breaking the circuits etc. to do work on them. Anyway, all I know is that the power has gone off unexpectedly every day since I have been back (5 days ago) for anywhere between 2-4 hrs. Most annoying when I want to get back to my addiction, myLot. I am just trying to catch up with my backlog of email notifications (over 1,000) and hopefully I will get to respond to yours! This idea was a good one. My last one had 4 responses. Funnily enough I don't get many so I don't start that many discussions. The only one that got the most responses (about 14) was about cheese and your favourite food!

LOL, I hope you enjoyed your mothers birthday party! Is Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic? That sounds like a familiar place, and my boyfriend and I were thinking about taking a vacation there. Anyways, I know you responded 6 months ago, but I thought I would check on Mylot, its been a while for me! And yes, many people responded to this post with much help, I think all of my discussions were taken care of in one day!

Isn't it amazing that there are so many discussions with no repsponses? I don't have any myself, but I do have one with just one comment. I understand why some people say they don't even bother to start discussions anymore. But that's sad. If only the same people start discussions, we're not getting the full benefit of everyone's wit and wisdom.

Jesse, why did you post so many discussion at the same time. I have notice the discussions with no responses were there are 20 different ones owned by one writer. I think you should post like 5 a day and respond to as many as you can.

That's a really great idea! But mostly I already respond to discussions with no responses because I have some with zero as well, or simply one. Maybe we have the wrong friends LOL! I try to respond to my friends discussions (at least the ones that make some sort of sense to me) but I noticed that only a few respond to mine. Hopefully I won't be the only one to respond to this discussion!

My friend, I feel for you. I just posted a discussion on the same topic - why I get NO responses to my discussions. It doesn't seem to matter what the topic is, I am lucky if I get one reply.... Please send me links to your discussions and I will be happy to respond. Maybe one day we'll all find the right topic and hit pay-dirt, lol. Have you thought about asking what people like to listen to? It seems to be a question asked a million times but it gets responses, lmao!!! Good luck. PEACE and HAPPY HOLS.

I will try to check your discussions with no responses and see if I have something to say to them. I fully agree with you that we should support each other.

Your solution suggests that we can all share the same interests even if we don't. Isn't that a tad demeaning to others who you seek a relationship of interest from? Stop jumping all over the universe on topics and follow through on some of the topics that really matter to you. Then perhaps all our payouts will increase. By the way, a 'thanks for responding' reply is really bad form and makes this responder think of those sham tea parties where everyone is sooo polite and nothing but vile is produced by the participants.

I think that most people can form an opinion on almost any topic. And if my discussions dont interest you, you dont need to respond. It wont hurt my feelings. I really dont care about payout. I really just care about resolving my discussions. I have been a member for over two years, an have probably only made 5 payouts. I think your response was a little rude, and in this online community, there is no need for that.

That is one of the major social problems today, everyone is expected to have opinions without adequate research resources availiable. The best way to defeat this 'cocktail hour' mentality is to not seek opinions but seek fact. One of the facts you seem to have missed on the topic of discussion is that every difference of your opinion will seem rude to you. If it doesn't its just a backslap agreement and how long can one discuss anything with 'yesmen'? We do agree on one point; the payout is only a very small portion of our participations here.

I try to get to these kind of discussions when I can. I will look for some of yours today and respond to the ones that I think I might be able to leave an answer to. I know how frustrating this can get for mine were like this to for a short while but fineally they all got responses and have moved out of that category. I hope you get some responses to those soon good luck I will head their now have a good day.
