Would you rather work in the comfort of your own home or work out somewhere else?

Of course, we would all like to work in our own home, especially with the price of gas the way it is going! But, I haven't been able to find anything that you can make a real living with to work at home with! Got any ideas?

thats definitely a downside at working at home. However something to consider is interation with other people. Yes, you are in the comfort of your own home but if you live by yourself then working at home can be quite depressing if you dont have people around.

I love working from home. I can work at my own pace and in my jammies if I wish. But beyond that, I am my own boss and I decide what it is I am going to do and when I am going to do it. This makes it nice. Additionally, I don't have to worry about scheduling things because I can work around them if and as needed.

Given the choice I would definitely work from home. I do my working from home now. I make extra money online for fun things. I think working from home is great if you can motivated and get your work done. For some people it would work, for others it wouldn't. With the price of gas telecommuters are very lucky.

This isn't a simple question to answer. I'd say it depends upon the type of work you do. I have enjoyed working in the "real world", and also like working at home which is what I currently do. They have both had their respective advantages and drawbacks for me. To obtain an answer to your question, it's best for the sake of comparison to break down specifics such as salary, opportunity for diversification, time invested, and gratification to name a few. You can then make your decision based upon your answers. The choice will be different for each of us.
