Ignoring people how easy is it

How easy it it to ignore people in real life or on forums who are horrible? Have you ever used an ignore function on a forum? would you?
When people say oh ignore them is it that easy if someone upsets you or is in their face all the time?

Hi 2potty. No it is not easy. Some people live in the world only to make others upset. But most of the time is better to ignore them (I know it is not easy at all) because they are poor of mind and if you reply them you become more upset. The best way is ignore them and if you can not stay in face of them without reply, go out for a while.
