What reminds you of your grandmother? It can be a food, a place, a song, a scent, a word, a saying - anything at all. For me, it's my favorite food and my grandmother's specialty which is beef mechado. How about you?

There's a smell of combined perfume and face powder which remindes me of one of my grandmothers, together with a certain type of bead necklace and shade of lipstick.

My grandma never wore perfume or powder so she just smelled like an old person I guess. My grandma always wore those dresses called "moo moos". HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

MY grandma and grandpa in my dad's side, I will remember their song for me..LOL, I know she loves me so much and since I am the first "apo" who were close to them that time, my cousins were leaving in Luzon and we are in Visayas so they were not able to spend so much time together. My grandpa in my mom's side, his generosity and kindness and his smile..very cool and good "lolo".

Baked beans and fried chicken. I used to visit her often to help her with some chores around her house. The first thing she would do is go to the freezer pulling a big plastic bag filled with chicken bones out of it. Then a bag of empty bean cans from her pantry closet. She would have me carry these to her garbage cans down the stairs and out in back as she could not walk far. Then she would give me a list to do some grocery shopping as well for her. What was on this list you ask? Well baked beans and chicken most times. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi there Grandpa Bob! That's really great! My grandmother usually ask me to go with her wherever she goes when I wasn't married yet, that is because she's having a hard time walking. Thank you very much for your response.
