Apart from dining together, what actually will you do to build closer relationship with your family? I like to bring my parents to watch movies or shopping.

we have a family day-out once every two weeks, but for us, every night is a family day. we just love staying in our room, cuddling, chatting and playing around. We want to stay home most of the time. Hubby don't go out with officemates. He goes home directly after office and he said, it's the time of thee day that he always wait. He loves going home and being with us. And it's the same for me. We can stay home everyday. Just being together makes us all so happy. How I wish this remains even though our daughter gets older.

my family, including my hubby and 2 kids will watch a movie that we borrowed from the library and make some popcorn or we will play a game. in the summer, we go to the beach or go canoeing. even though our kids are getting older (15 and 11) we still find ways to hang out together.

We try to do movie night with our daughter every Saturday night. She gets to stay up later than her normal bedtime and we find a movie that is for kids on TV (often something from Pay-Per-View.
