Gas prices are outrageous! I realize that i should really watch where i go and perhaps just walk to places when I can.

I agree with you there. The price of gas is insane and oil companies are making off like bandits. Although, maybe this isn't such a bad thing. Now we Americans are coming to a point where we are forced to rethink transportation and fuel economy or alternatives. I wonder if there is a kind of non-passenger wagon I could pull behind a bicycle for when I go shopping, and when will hydrogen become a more efficiant and common fuel source. People complain about how much electricity it takes to make hydrogen, but maybe if the plant is hooked up to a wind farm (almost free energy) enough power would be produced for the making of hydrogen very cheaply.

Gas prices are going up and are still going up at a steady rate all thanks to our dear OPEC. But either way, it is a blessing in disguse in a sense because it is acutally helping us to curb pollution to a great extend. We should be trying to walk to places if possible in the first place to protect the Earth and peharps do a short work out now and then

I hear ya! It's getting to the point where I am counting kilometres before I leave my house. Gas here is up to $1.34/litre (about 2 months ago it was about 0.87/litre) I put $30 in my tank and it fills it under halfway! $30 used to fill my tank!

I miss those days when i could fill up a tank for just 1700 pesos or $38.63. I usually never let my car get to almost empty, but with these prices i have been doing it a lot.
