yesterday at work, i went down to the laboratory to get some lab result of my patients. i passed by the nursery and it's viewing time. i took a couple of minutes to look at the new born babies! in one crib i saw a big baby! she's weighing 10.7 lbs! she's really big. she have round cheeks! i wanted to take a picture of her but since im not her relative, im not allowed to do so! i can only imagine the hardship of her mom to deliver her! but anyway, she's a gift from heaven. im sure her mom's pain will go away when she sees her!

My youngest daughter was 8lb 2oz not massive but she was also two weeks early they said she would have been 9lb + at term and 10lb+ if born overdue, personally im glad she was born early lol! he was very short though only just 45cms so didnt look all that big

That is one big baby. Mine were both overdue and they were both under 8 pounds. I can't imagine having a baby that big.

My daughter got the attention when she was born because a few of the nurses said she was the cutest baby in the nursery. It was funny cause one nurse said that she tells all the parents how cute their kids are, but with my daughter she really meant it.

I bet it was very painful for her mother to give birth to her also. My baby girl only weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces and that was painful enough for me. I think the baby is a gift from heaven also and her mom will be very proud of her anyway when she gets well enough to enjoy her.

she delivered in cesarean section! she was asleep all the time during the operation. but for sure the pain comes when she wakes up. as i heard, the mother had a diabetes. that's why her baby became that big.
