It is always best to write down anything and everything that comes to mind whenever the chance is open for you to do so. Even if it's just a word. This could help you formulate your plot and it will eventually take its own shape and form once you've got the "skeleton" written down. Just write and write and you'll eventually have a very rough draft that you can tweak here and there. Of course, you should keep in mind that there will be a lot of revisions, so be ready for a lot of writing and rereading. Good luck!

I went through the same when I started writing. The way I did it was to write things down as things pop up in my thoughts. That became the first draft, a starting point. I then proceeded on editing and polishing the writings. That worked for me.

Divide your plot in series and then club it when you feel like you are in mood and if possible discuss the same with your family or friends

I would suggest at least writing down any ideas that come to you. If any specific scenes or characters from the story are already developed. You can put them together later, but it is good to jot down ideas as they come to you so that you don't think up a really good idea and then forget it before you have the chance to explore it further. I find that writing as the mood moves me helps a great deal because sometimes when you just sit there and try to force yourself to write it winds up not being as good in quality as it could. If you have the basic theme in mind, I think it would be a good start to explore the theme a little further so that you can gather ideas and maybe something will inspire you send you in the right direction when you're writing.

Sleeping over the idea is really helpful. But if you have already slept a lot over it, then it's time you started. Don't worry about ends. The path will itself help in the ending. Write it down. Whatever comes to mind. Your first draft is not going to be published. Nobody is going to read it. So don't be scared. You would later have plenty of time to rewrite and edit it. But only if you get started! All the best.

I enjoy writing too. Most of the time when I go to write one of my stories, I just let the pen do the talking. It's strange because when you find your writing zone it all just comes together by itself. So, I think you should get started and the inspiration will hit you as you proceed.
