According to a recent news,a Saudi girl H.Abdul Hadi, who was offered foreign scholarship for higher medical education in a French University, has decided not to go to France due to the restriction on Hijab in that country. She has already spent 7000 Riyals for learning French Language to join this course.According to her,she will never repent losing this scholarship as Hijab is a part of her faith, therefore she can never live without it.This Muslim girl has suffered due to an undue restriction. There may be other girls also who must have suffered like her.I think there should be some relaxation on religious attributes as Hijab etc. What are your views about this problem ??

When in Rome... She must respect the culture of the country she goes to and not try and impose her cultural norms on a different culture. all the best urban

Mind you culture of any country is not so important as the divine orders of God Almighty. In most of the western states, sin as homosexuality is permitted against the clear orders of the Bible. After some time animalistic incest will also be permitted under the garb of free will and human rights.Do you think we should also copy you and leave our Holy book like you......?We donot want to separate our religion from state. She has done a right thing.

But you have completely missed the point, she is free to do as she pleases within her own country but she should not impose her beliefs on the members of a foreign country if she chooses to go there. When you choose to go to another country, you choose to accept their rules. Homosexuality is indeed permitted here but in Muslim countries homosexual rape is widespread and girls that are raped, because they cannot summon 3 witnesses are tortured all the best urban

i do respect to other religion and its rules including the attributes. i hope all the government will do the same thing as me. religion must be clear from politic or the political will. i hope Hadi will not disappoint with this case and still having a pertinacious to the education.

I don't see a "problem". I think she did the right thing. If I want to go to her school and they require me to wear a Hijab should I expect the school to change the rule for me and allow me to be the only one that doesn't have to wear it because I'm Christian? Should I expect them to make everyone take theirs off? Faith should be on the inside anyway. Taking her Hijab off for school shouldn't be such a hard thing, she would still be a Muslim wouldn't she? FYI men don't lust after womens faces...

It is to inform you that we have clear divine orders for our women to hide their faces in addition to whole body. You have said,"Faith should be on the inside anyway."You mean to say that we should only accept Hijab from inside and refuse it practically b/c you are not happy with it.You want that we should also copy your culture/ morality and forget what our God Almighty requires from us.This is not possible.

Urban, Thanks for responding and asking these details.God Almighty says: "O,PROPHET,ENJOIN YOUR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS AND THE WOMEN OF THE BELIEVERS THAT THEY SHOULD LET DOWN OVER THEIR FACES PART OF THEIR OUTER GARMENTS;IT IS EXPECTED THAT THEY WILL THUS BE RECOGNIZED AND NOT MOLESTED.ALLAH IS FORGIVING AND MERCIFUL" (Surah Al-Ahzab 59/22......................The Holy Quran........................) Mind you there was no Hijab before these orders. So our Holy Prophet(pbuh)conveyed these orders to his family and other Muslim women who all started putting on Hijab. Our religion never encourages free mixing up of both the sexes and obscenity in our society..............
