i think it deffinatly shows the value of reading. i would rather spend my money on good books than clothes any day. i wish everyone saw reading the way this message shows it instead of just something required of us.

For sure it is since we all know that today's generation, only few young people value reading since they can almost get everything they want to know online!

i believe in this message and i really like the thought attached to it, reading is very important as it gives us enough knowledge to go on and live in the world. there will be no replacement from the wisdom we get through reading, i will definitely wear an old worn shirt just to keep my money for the book i want to buy.

I like that message and for me it is true. I would much rather wear old clothes and buy a good book than wear new clothes and not have any money to spend on books. I only buy clothes when I really have the need, and I buy books even if I don't need them. If I bought more clothes I may never wear some of them but if I buy more books I know I will read all of them. All my books, and most of my clothes, are pre-owned or used, as I don't have much money to spend on either of them.

Wear a torn shirt if needed, but buy a good book I really like this statement.May be its because I like reading books a lot. When I was young,I had the habit of reading books till late at night and some one should force me to close the book and go to bed! Books really teach us a lot.The advantages of reading books are infinite. One can truly become a scholar only if he reads a lot. But,sadly it seems that at the present age, children are spending more time in front of TV and computer that they barely read even the morning newspaper.I hope, the present age children do not lose the pleasure of reading books. Cheers! Have a nice day Happy mylotting and happy earnings.

That reminds me of a saying my children's pediatrician always told his patients. "you can wear used clothes, but never give your feet anything but the best shoe possible." And, I think that is the way to go. With the books, the better the book, the more chance are you will read it completely and want to read it again. I have books that I will never finish simply because they aren't what I thought they would be. Then I have books that I would never part with.
