Hello Friends, Yesterday evening my friend called me up and wanted me to join for playing some games in Computer. I was feeling very reluctant to go as i was feeling lethargic and just reached home from work. Instead of going i was here in mylot posting and also playing chess in the internet. Then i thought that how people have changed over the years. People are spending so much time in internet and the virtual world and it gets us far from the near and dear ones. Do u think u r getting socially inactive becoz of internet? U feel reluctant to go to the public gatherings, parties and feel that u have so many things to do here? Please share your views. Cheers, Tutul

I think internet has does changed the way people communicated. Most people say that internet makes people socially inactive. In my view internet does make you inactive but not fully. The sites like myspace, facebook helps you to socialize.

Hi, Yes u r correct but thats really not the way people should socialize. Ten yrs back or so we were a lot more friendly and use to meet our freinds and close ones more often. More and more technology is making our life complicated. Cheers, Tutul

It is other way round. Participating mylot through internet definitely makes us more active, because we are exposed to the world of information. In otherwords, one can acquire a lot of knowledge about countries, peoples, culture etc. Knowledge is the power.

Hello there, Yes i agree with u to a certain extent. But dont u think its a lot better to be amongst friends in reality then sitting in front of computer and chatting. Well i think people should limit themselves to the time the spend in internet and spend qulaity time with the loved ones. If the way people r going, i dont think the time is far where we will c divorce cases and other human disputes becoz of internet. Cheers, Tutul

It's just a passing phase friend and with time it will just pass away. Everything has it's limits so a time will come when you will get bored from this virtual world and you would just like to run away from it.I too was hooked to net few months back and was used to this i.e ignoring social life and living completely in the virtual world but now I am over with it and have struck a balance with online socializing and living outside it.
