Discussion Blockage

hi dear this happens to me everyday...when i m not looking for any solution to some specific problem..so when u start answering discussions new ideas start coming up as u answer more and more u become more sure as to wt u want to know specifically...u dont try to answer any discussion forcefully if it catches ur attention then go ahead and answer..take care have a nice day..

Sometimes I look for news, but in my case I forget it. The disadvantage of using news as a discussion is staleness. I ended up sitting on a story and now its a week old. But, this isn't so bad. Another thing you can do to alleviate mylot boredom. Try googling topics you are interested in and putting in "site:mylot.com" You may run into things you want to respond to. Also, if a member gives a notable response, check out their profile and their discussions. That could help too.

Sure that happens to me, too. Then I'll get some random or wacky idea from a daily activity and the blockage is gone. Over thinking MyLot usually blocks me. The more serious or deep minded that I try to be, such as philosophical, the less responses I get. So, I have to post just normal stuff that everyone can identify with. Most blocks pass in a day or two. Just get out and walk around or watch some TV. Talk to a friend. The best inspirations can come from almost anywhere! Good luck. Have a nice weekend.

I feel you on that. Then I'll try to start a discussion, and then I'll re-read it and it looks like the stupidest thing I could have ever typed...That's why I keep mylot open while I'm earning money elsewhere...:)

I have many days with "nothing on the brain", ha! Yesterday was one of those days for me as well. Ya know I think creativity comes and goes in waves.....somedays you have it and others you don't.

I surely feel that way many times. I have no idea of topic to post and when I go to the discussion to pick something to reply to, most are not interesting to me to make a reply. Well, I keep on browsing from the discussions area to find something that would interest me. lol. As I go over some of the topics, I finally can get some ideas out of theirs as my topic. So, that's what I do, keep on browsing some of the topics until you will come up with an idea from them. Good luck!!
