Do you rate discussions?

I just knew today that discussions can be rated. See that plus, minus, and exclamation sign? Those are the options of rating the discussion. I just knew it today. Well, I think I should start rating discussions. Do you rate discussions too? What rating do you usually give? Positive or negative?

I'll normally give a positive. I don't give negatives unless it's abusive? Well, if it's abusive I would have reported it anyway with the exclamation mark sign

Very very true. Better report it than give it a negative rating. I haven't reported anyone yet. And I hope I won't be doing it some time in the future. Unless i am provoked to do. Hahaha.

hi, there are a lot of discussions that are happening on mylot. i sometimes rate the discussions but sometimes i leave that. when the response is very interesting my handreflexly approaches the positive button. and on the other part the discussions that i do not like i simply give an exclamation mark. anyways have a good day.

I think you must be quite new to mylot.we all began like you.In course of time you will get to know things.I always rate discussions that I respond to and I always rate it positive.I respond only to discussions that interest me.I have never rated anyone negative. If I am not interested i just leave it rather than rate it negative.Everyone has their own likes and dislikes.

First of all I rate a post, either a new discussion or a new response/comment, before writing my views on that post. I always rate everyone positive and I feel honoured when I see so many responses to my discussions. Rating (though not visible to the concerned respondent/host of a post) help him/her in his/her star rating and I always believe in helping my friends, by rating them positive.

I do... We owe a lot to our fellow members in my lot that takes time to respond in our discussions and it is only right to return the favor to them by showing how you appreciated their answers and rating them appropriately. Thanks for allowing me share my insights and God bless you
