Happy Anniversary / myLot

Happy anniversary to me! My husband is out of town with the softball team he coaches and won't be home until tomorrow or the next day. This is the 3rd or 4th year I've spent our anniversary alone. I'm sure my husband will call but it's just not the same as him being here so we could go celebrate tonight. It's 39 years today, Flag Day. I do have plans tonight to have dinner with a friend. Think she felt bad for me. Have you ever had to spend an anniversary alone because your spouse was busy with another commitment other than work?

Well..even when I was married and he was with me on my anniversary I was still alone! That's how bad it was~! LOL...makes you wonder why I even married him in the first place!

Sounds like you had an ugly experience. I did have a good time tonight with a friend at dinner. Thanks for responding.

Happy Anniversary, Carol. It's nice to hear you won't be spending it totally alone. We have been married 13 yrs. now and have stopped doing something special on our anniversary 7yrs. ago. To us, just another day is all.

We don't do much but I would have enjoyed spending the evening with him. Just a relaxing meal. Thanks for responding.
