I keep noticing something. I don't know why it bothers me that I don't know the answer, it just does.
There is a member here on Mylot, who became one of my very first friends when I joined. I have since deleted him because he is never here posting.
HOWEVER...even though he is never here, and he only ever had 4 comments total, he somehow becomes friends with every new person who joins...daily... and he has over 12,000 friends!
If his profile says that he logged in last week, how did he add somebody who just joined today?
And why does it drive me nuts everytime I see him becoming friends with someone new?? Lol!

I wouldnt let it bother you he is just a lazy person. As far as the friends go he probably downloaded that illegal automated friend graber that I heard was floating around. If you get caught using it I heard you get booted from mylot and it is not worth it.

I never heard of that thing before, but that sounds like what it might be.
I hate to be talking about someone negatively. I hope he doesn't come back and read all of this. I was just trying to figure out an answer as to how and why it was happening because I notice it everyday and it makes me wonder.

That probably just it. He even beet me with my referrals which I should be the first because mylot automatically add me as their friend. The only way to know a user is new is if he/she made a respond or start a discussion, BUT she add interest to his/her profile.

12,000 friends? wow!That is cool! I wonder how much he earn from all those referral especially if everyone in the list were active!LOL!Maybe you have shared deeper friendship and made you miss him? Just a guess...LOL!

Yes, I too feel its rye.. coz the moment I signed up for Mylot, I received his friends request immediately. It could be only automated, what else.

That is very that your friend have 12000 friends.
Maybe he do not work here himself, but earn from his referral I think.
I am here just find something interest me. I do not think make a lot of referrals is a interesting thing.

referrals can got with a little hardwork. but you never guarantee that they will be active on mylot and you will earn from them.

Yeah i guess when that person doesnt participate in discussions, but keeps on adding frendz, to avail nothing, i guess that upsets you. It would me too. I really delete such ppl who dont respond or dont participate, i mean if they r my frendz, even if they dont like my discussions, at least they should participate ib others discussions, or when i reply to their, they should take notice...

I have a really large amount of friends but
then I'm always here.

I know who you are talking about, i had received an invite at start myself and accepted since i didn't had any friends back then of course - but after figuring out MyLot i have deleted that person myself. I see her in almost any mylot'er profile and i ask myself how is that possible and why she is doing that.

You should email MyLot about that, I know that some people have scripts they can run on these sites to generate alot of revenue by doing nothing. While we sit her participating in the descussions and refering friends. That makes me mad when people do that, I would definetly contact MyLot about that user so they can look into it.

You have to send invites to people you know....your relatives, people you go to school with, or work with etc.
Your referral url is on your page under your avatar somewhere. When people join mylot using your link, you will make earnings from them posting here too!

hi momalisa, I just wonder also why does it bother you? Do you know him personally? Then you should ask him why. If not, maybe you should send him a message and ask him why. Maybe, he just want to have friends, but I'm puzzled what's he doing here in mylot if he doesn't join any discussion at all and what is his purpose of inviting friends. hehehe...that's weird.

I have noticed this also. I have noticed on other sites that they have this same thing. I believe it is like an automated welcoming device. Sort of a starting point for us. Not sure. Just an idea. Like I said, I have seen these on other sites.
