Mowing your Lawn

You know what's funny. Even though I know that the lawn mower uses gas to run. I never consider it in the same way as gassing up my car. How ironic is that! I guess I'm just being picky, cause I love a nicely mowed yard. We could just stay out of the car and not go somewhere on most days. But that lawn will attract snakes if we don't keep it up. We have bad weeds in our area. Nothing to be done about them. And, I can't use the weed killer. I've heard that has something that can harm or kill a fetus. Not pregnant yet. But one day. So, I'm not chancing it. Be well. Thanks for the fun topic.

I work in landscaping and we have no choice but to mow weekly. However, we have a great mower that's excellent on gas, it does a half acre roughly without running dry. Out of 3 houses we did yesterday, we filled it maybe twice.

Yeah we usally mow are lawn at least once a week I dont think gas prices will ever affect us not mowing are lawn. We dont want high grass my parents worked hard on making our lawn look good so I dont think theyll let gas get in the way of cutting it every week.

I find that I am pretty lucky in the lawn care department. I live on a military base so most of the lawn is taken care of by a landscaping crew that the base hires. We are responsible for our back yards which are pretty small. I just use an electric weed wacker on it onnce every two weeks at most. It works out nicely for me!

My mom still mows the lawn every few weeks, which is the same amount as she did before. I always feel a little guilty when she does because I feel like I should be helping. We live right on a road and I can't stand having the traffic staring at me.
