Over the years, I've gotten lots of really cool freebies from free makeup to free computers. Once I even got a free wardrobe of clothing from an older woman who had gained a little weight. She also gave me tons of skin care products for free, because she did not want it. Once me and the spouse had to wait at the Hardys for a long time. And, after about half an hour, the store manager came running out with a free strawberry milkshake. It was such a nice thing for them to do. They could have just given us the bag of burgers and sent us away mad. But they did not and helped us out. That was nice! What's the nicest or coolest freebie you've ever received?

I got a leather jacket....there was one I was eyeballing at Wilson's....gorgeous jacket with an equally gorgeous price tag....well I told my mom about it...and it turns out my mom's neighbor gave her a leather jacket....and she said I could have it...well I knew this was a little old lady and all i could imagine was the patchwork kind of jacket. When I came home for winter break she showed it to me....almost the same exact jacket I was eyeballing. the ony difference was it was made years and years back. I still wear my retro blac jacket and love it dearly.

Well my husband got a coupon for an electric air freshner fan. It was a coupon for a free one. Well, I went to Piggly Wiggly and bought one.. I only had to pay 10 cents for the tax.. Talk about free. Plus it already had the air freshner attached to it.. It was not my coupon, for they sent it to my husband in the mail. To this day, I am trying to figure out how they got him mixed up with this.. He is no person whom is interested in air freshners.. Only I am.. I asked him if I could have it. He told me yes, so I used it to my ability. Plus the battery for the fan came with it too.

That's an awesome freebie! I wonder where I could register for one of those. I'm always running into free stuff online. I will keep my eyes open and post it on my freebies and coupons blog.

I have been a member for a beauty brand and on my birthday, they called me and said that I could pick up a gift for free from their counter. I went there and they gave me a full size honeysuckle body wash. I was really happy because I loved the scent very much and it's something that I would use and find it useful.

Hi, I have not typically got too many things for free. I have tended to give away more things than I get. I have actually given some things that other people would probably call pretty cool! For me, the best thing I probably ever got for free was a treadmill. They are really expensive and I needed one. nice savings! cheers,

Are you such things as free. I don't believe this word really exist because when someone says they give you something they always looking out for returns. If it does not cost us one way it did the other.

I disagree Kerriannc...a couple of months ago I was flooded in at my house for days...and I had to miss work, which put me into financial jeopardy as I had a "system" on how I pay my bills....well also my mother was in the hospital and they said she had to leave that day....needless to say my coworkers helped me out...when I got out of my area one cowaorker drove me all over town for 2-3 hours and waited while the hospital took their time to discharge my mom....and then drove us to a motel, as we were not allowed back into our area. The hotel gave us a wonderful discount d/t disaster....and a week or so later my coworkers raised $220.00 to help out with groceries and some bills due to my missing work. So I do believe that such things are free when given in the spirit of love. Good day.

Hi Taface. Thanks for posting about the wonderful and generous gifts that you have received. Yes, generosity of spirit and time shared do count as gifts. I am happy that your coworkers shared both their hearts and resources with you. Be well. Have a blessed day!

The coolest thing I've ever gotten for free was the $100 gift card I got from boomertowne. I got it a couple of days ago, and it was great, because I really really needed the extra money this mont.

I've received lots of freebies over the years. When I had my son, we didn't have to pay for hardly anything. A lady I worked with at the time gave us a bunch of bottles, a car seat, and some clothes. She also gave me some maternity clothes. She had a baby that was just a little over a year older than my son, so she still had a bunch of his baby stuff, and she said she was just going to donate it anyway, so she gave it to us! A guy my husband worked with gave us a stroller, bassinet, blankets, high chair, and a few other odds and ends baby items. My husband helped him move, and he gave that stuff to him, because he didn't have a need for it anymore (his kids were in school, and he was divorced). As far as online things go, I've received a really nice electric toothbrush, a bunch of coupons for free foods, some free shaving gel, a few free razors, some diapers, etc. I also won $50 once in a drawing for one of the survey sites that I participate in. The cool thing was that I got paid for taking the survey, and then got $50, too! I also received 2 of my pets for free. We got Snoopie (our almost 2 year old dog) from freecycle, and Trinitie (our cat) from a neighbor we had before.

I have gotten some really cool things by entering sweepstakes! My biggie win was last year when we got to go to Disneyland and see Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus in concert, plus a cash reward. Granted we had to pay some taxes on it but we were smart and saved half the price money so I could pay Uncle Sam. One cool thing I got was brunch for two at the Hyatt in Baltimore. We went there for drinks one evening and could not get the waitress' attention, so I wrote the general manager a letter about the lack of customer service. He sent up complimentary Sunday brunch tickets. It was awesome. I believe in customer service and will let management know about good or bad customer service. This was a segway for me to get into mystery shopping. LOL

I love freebies! I think the coolest thing I've gotten for free is my cat (also the most expensive free thing ever, lol). That little ball of fur changed me in so many ways and she's got such a spunky personality too. The coolest thing I've gotten lately is a free bottle of Super B Complex Vitamins by Nature Made. It was a bottle of 14 one a day geltabs. I didn't bother with them and then I was so stressed out last week that I tried them as they say it helps with stress. Well I was able to find courage, not be depressed and let go of an 8 yr on/off purely BS but totally addictive relationship and I got my creativity back and feel more like me than ever. Plus energy. That freebie gave me ME back!

I have gotten lots of freebies. I couldn't possibly remember them all. My husband was given a Garmin GPS about six months ago. That was pretty cool. The most recent freebie was given to us this past weekend. The neighbors across the street were having a yard sale. My husband took our 2 year old over there with him and bought a Little Tikes grocery cart with a gallon sized bag of plastic food. He dropped it off and went back. The next thing I know he is carrying this giant trampoline over. They are getting a new one for some reason and gave this one to us. It is in good condition. All we have to buy are the safety walls. The kids were so excited.

A few years ago, my roommate and I helped someone move, and she gave us her sewing machine, and a TV which worked intermittently. We knew the TV had issues but we were happy as it was much bigger than the one we had. I am not sure if we ever used the sewing maching, but it was nice that we had it if we ever wanted to sew anything! I think it got donated to Salvation Army when we moved out though. I won a (brand new) TV at a holiday party at work a couple of years ago; though that was technically winning and not just receiving for free, I didn't have to do anything but show up at the (free) party to get it!

I think the coolest thing I got for free was ice cream in a cone. That is when I was only 4 years old and it was on the first movie I watched with my parents. It was the movie of one of our Presidents and his role then was an ice cream vendor. I remember that there was a vendor at the lobby standing by and giving free ice cream to moviegoers who have kids with them. I was so happy having that ice cream and until now, I tend to smle whenever I think about it.

Well, over the yrs. we have gotten a lot of stuff for Free from people. Since we are always looking on sites such as Freecycle.com, etc. you never know what people will give away for Free. Over the yrs. I have received a lot of clothing, shoes, a Lamp, furniture, dishes, CDS, etc. You can never go wrong when someone offers you something for Free. Since we are getting ready to move as soon as our Condo sells, we are really hoping someone will have some nice furniture, etc. for Free to offer us as well as we will really need some more then.

The coolest thing I've ever gotten for free is, without question, my cat. He came from FreeCycle, which is a cool internet website where people give away things they don't need anymore. Find them online at freecycle.org. They have FreeCycle sites for the entire world.

Over the years I've gotten loads of freebies, so no way I could pin down a favorite really. One time my friend and her husband were going to sell me their old car when they bought a new one. When it came down to it her husband said the Lord was telling him to just give it to me. It was old...a 1980 t-bird, but I'm sure the most expensive thing that I ever got free. Marsha

I got a free trip to Washington Dc to see president George W. Bush being brought into office. I was in the 6th grade and me and some other students got to go for free. Some business people paid for us all to go. I can't remember exactly why they paid for us to go but I do remember meeting them after we came back. It was an awesome trip except I got sick and I forgot my camera at the hotel.lol But other than that it was cool.
