Last night I was able to see a beautiful site. It was early evening, our house has a vacant lot beside it. The lot had all sort of grass and trees growing quite eerie at night, since it was fairly wide the most part of it is dark during evening, pitch-black. Last night I saw groups of fireflies in that area since it's pitch-black there, they're twinkling like stars and they're absolutely beautiful, stars in the ground they seem. Have you seen something like this or other things only nature can demonstrate in your own backyard?

I haven't seen large groups of fire flies since I was a little girl living in Virginia. That was 40 years ago. We had an over-grown lot behind our house and that's where they would be. A lot of us children would catch them in jars and take them to bed with us. I'd watch them twinkle until I fell asleep. I guess my grandmother would come get them after I fell asleep and release them. I don't ever recall seeing the jar in the mornings. I live in Georgia now and see some on occasion, but nothing like I did back then.
