Do you prepare list before going shopping?

I never prepare list before going shopping, but tries to make a list of things in mind before going shopping. Sometimes I buys things I do not intend to buy or I did not plan before shopping. How about you? Do you make list for shopping? Do you stick to the list or tries buys things outside of the list for shopping?
